I'm honestly shocked no one ever shot on hogan . He's a big dude but there's been some killers that would have chewed him up easily in the day. Guess all too scared to get blackballed

Oh, and if I was macho man. Like it doesn’t surprise me that macho and Hogan had a very tenuous relationship, that went back-and-forth. I would definitely have busted hogans lip. If I had won the title Hogan went in the ring and started celebrating like he had just won the title back or something and then continued to overshadow me for the entire year building up to our match.

To be fair when Hogan was on top, and he wasn’t going to lose regardless most of the people he worked with were just making money being near the draw.

If I was Sting, and I was supposed to be put over there would’ve been issues.

That was more on WCW. He was kind of rushed out of the power plant and put on TV when he wasn’t ready. That being said WCW’s best biggest mistake was actually when they kind of downplayed him in 1999.

I have seen some that want as little story as possible, but I agree it’s very few. It mostly an argument over where the pendulum should swing between matches and segments.

I was only defending my original joke that Sheamus having strong characters and story meant he was the perfect trifecta. You can have it all. And like I said to Jeff, call me selfish because I want it all.

I’ll have to check out that Gunther and Drew triple threat.

I have seen some that want as little story as possible, but I agree it’s very few. It mostly an argument over where the pendulum should swing between matches and segments.

From my experience it's mostly people saying something that isn't WWE sucks because "they have 0 stories" and then all the reasonable people that do like stories support that for some reason bc that bad faith argument is attacked. It's a very good strategy to get two reasonable sides fighting with each other, just takes one outlandish comment and then you don't even have to keep it up after everyone will do your work for you and you can get popcorn.

It's no different to me than when the women's involvement was more of a talking point. You had both sides with stop watches counting women's match time to prove that the other side also books women bad. I don't believe those people cared about the women's booking in the other company, but they'd get people on their side that actually care to argue for them.

I see that. There’s a lot of bad Faith actors out there unfortunately. It’s weird because I will say as someone that does prefer a little bit more story that I would stick up for preferring stories if it was in a more reasonable context, but I will actually stick up for the other side if they try to say somebody has zero stories because it’s like bro I watch AEW so to try to act like there’s no stories on their television is absolutely wild to me.

I could someone see it if you said it about ring of honor mind you I haven’t washed ring of honor in a minute, but like there was maybe two backstage interviews on an episode I watched and no in ring promos, but I know since then they’ve done that MIT in training thing and some other things but yeah the idea that a product could have zero stories it’s crazy.

I was saying to Jeff that thing you’re saying about reasonable people being tricked into the conversation is real because it doesn’t take much for two sides to find a tiny area where they disagree and forget they might actually agree on more. As I was never defending that troll. I think saying you only want stories and no 5-star matches is equally stupid. I want it all.

And as someone that’s kinda like in the middle now, as I’m trying to enjoy WWE and AEW, it doesn’t help that there are bad faith actors that will also say like if you want to watch real professional wrestling watch AEW and I’m gonna call out my own boy here because CM punk didn’t help when he also cut a promo saying I left professional wrestling in 2005 and I came back to it in 2019 and now that motherfuckers in WWE again
