Angle just give EY another shot, and break his ankle into pieces.
I hope he does break his ankle and send EY back to the undercard where he belongs.Angle just give EY another shot, and break his ankle into pieces.
I'll still say Lockdown was the right call. The mistake came from whatever happened to TNA creative over the summer when they randomly dropped the belt off Roode to Aries and had Jeff Hardy win the BFG series. Roode should have held onto the title until BFG and Storm should gave won the series forcing Roode to give him one last chance. Storm winning at BFG iver the year long champion would have made both Roode and Storm. If I recall correctly that poorly booked BFG was the last PPV I saw from TNA, Hardy and Aries in the main event. Jeez.
I hope he does break his ankle and send EY back to the undercard where he belongs.
Go to hell. Eric Young is awesome
I don't think Roose was done with a simple few months reign as champion. As much as I would have liked to have seen Storm built into a main event player, Roode is definitely the stronger of the two and needed to define himself as a top guy before putting over Storm. I never would have brought in Aries at this point at all. It was way too early. Aries would have been a better candidate for Storm after BFG when he would needed a new program going 2013.And I'll continue to maintain that they should have just pulled the trigger at Lockdown, particularly when given all the hindsight you just posted. Not to mention, they could have still done the Aries title switch but made it even bigger since Storm would have respected his desire to give up his title for a shot at the big one. Face vs. Face would have been great and then they could do the big Roode/Storm blowoff while Aries moved on to new things.

To be fair it was the last time we were both avid TNA watchers.I also think it's incredible how much mileage we've gotten out of this Roode/Storm at Lockdown debate Brandon.

Yeah, I was never a fan of comedic EY either. Especially after the mockery that was his knockouts tag title reign. I do have to say I prefer a heel Young like when he in the World Elite. That said, he's still not a world champion.Yeah I grew tired of EY the comedian after the EY/ODB stick. It was funny for a short time seeing him taking his clothes off all the time, but enough was enough. The BDC with the best theme in TNA love it to death!
