TNA to tape Impact in UK

BIG NEWS FOR TNA. We will film Impact from Wembley Arena in London on 1/28! Cannot tell you how excited I am! Details to follow.

This is the first time Impact has been taped outside of the US.

Awesome, the UK has been very receptive to TNA, I'm counting on my fellow countrymen to be an excellent crowd.

IIRC, last years Wembley show was their biggest crowd ever, so this could look really good for them on TV.

This is one of the smartest decision TNA has ever made.

IIRC TNA is actually received better there than in the US and aren't they even more popular than the WWE over there?

TNA's TV ratings are usually better than WWE's, but WWE is only available via satellite whereas TNA is in every home. So there are just as many, if not more, eyes on the product than there is WWE, but WWE have more programming and are making more money from their deal.

Totally agree with this. They are pretty popular in the UK so they should attempt to exploit it as much as possible.

I would think that they would tour in Europe more, but after what happened last year with Flair, they might be hesitant too.
