Oh man, I remember that Nitro, it was the absolute worse of what it was to be in that era at the time. Meta, self aware wrestling is the absolute shits. Nobody needed to be reminded this shit was scripted, but this segment....No way it could be. Not on the format sheet, call the producer.....you gotta be ribbing me....I won't put him over, I'm not doing the job, I gotta get my shit in.

The only person I ever felt bad for when ECW closed was Tommy Dreamer, he was still under the assumption that Paul Heyman was trying to get another TV contract and he was the one left with his dick in his hand after everyone finds out he signed with WWF.
