Any promotion, just wondering what people would prefer to see in today’s wrestling, perhaps compared to another brand, what is another brand doing right that you’d like to see cross over, etc. I’ve noticed there seems to be a pretty big bag of people who really love what wrestling is doing (WWE specifically) and I’m just having a hard time thinking it’s that good. Storylines are weak, build ups are often shitty, lots of cringe. AEW has cringe, but, less than WWE imo.

Anyway, thoughts?

Camera angles revamped to simplistic long shots of the ring area, two camera men, and only use the extra camera-men for angles or to highlight a spot.

Promos freely unscripted, and if people suck at promos, don't give them air-time to talk. If you're good at wrestling, highlight the wrestling, if you're good at talking, highlight the talking.

Stories should be simplified. The simple story of "I hate this fucker" is usually the best and don't push the first match at once. Build it up properly. Don't have both men fight one another immediately, build up brawls after the first match. Have their words build the promo and then use action to continue it. Slowly build promos, but not too long.

Allow a little blood. WWE's primary problem is the lack of what feels like credible action without blood. I don't think buckets of blood and is the answer. What I imagine to be effective is if three guys beat down someone so badly he bleeds. No DQ matches don't need blood, but a Hell In a Cell, Elimination Chamber, Cage match, any sort of high stakes match would be better served with some red.

Have a plan. You can be flexible with your plan, but have a long term plan in mind and stick with it until it either fails or it becomes a big hit. Changing it week to week does not allow your plan to be realized to the fullest. One example would be Sting's push from 1988-1991. Sting was obviously *the* guy for WCW after the first match with Flair and they built Sting accordingly. Even after he got injured, they accommodated and changed the story to give Sting the rub when he was back.

I know it won't happen but Raw going back 2 hours would remove so much of the negativity surrounding the brand I swear.
