So, today despite retiring last year Chelsea have included Legendary Goalkeeper Petr Cech in their Premier League squad. Apparent only as emergency cover for the other 3 Goalkeepers they also named. Still, that's impressive for me.

He played 300+ games for Chelsea before leaving for Arsenal and playing another 100+. Not to mention the 100+ International appearances for Czech Republic. He then returned to Chelsea in a coaching capacity, but he is right there if they need him.

While the reference to Petr Cech will be lost on a lot of you as it's Soccer, I'd like to see some examples of Athletes of yesteryear who you think could still run onto a pitch/field/court right now and still perform with the best.

Tendulkar 100%. He would give fielders nightmares still.

Warne though I'm not so sure. Legendary and rightfully so but once retired his practice stops and would be hard to pick back up.
