I checked out the IWA two years ago. It looks rather home-made to me. I thought it was a company of international repute.

IWA Puerto Rico isn't lucha. It looks homemade since it's basically an indy promotion. It died a decade ago, got revived by Savio Vega, but never got any traction due to COVID.

In other news, CMLL's leyenda de plata final is up on their YT channel. Leyenda de Plata is like their King of the Ring, most important tournament of the year.

NGD has left CMLL. That's a massive massive blow. They're the best trio in the world. Soberano Jr is calling out Ultimo Guerrero on Twitter too, another massive blow if he leaves. Titan is probably the only big young star left.

The classic luchadores were the finest. The ones who came later may have shined in their own lights, but the likes of Rey Misterio, Eddie Guerrero, Psicosis and La Parka are performers we'll never have again. They are the true legacy and are among the Mexican wrestlers that really entertained us.

That's true, but there was a lot more like them that never broke out in the US. Mysterio and Guerrero's class between 88-92 has produced some of the greatest wrestlers in Lucha and wrestling history.

Anyone interested in watching AAA Triplemania XXIX, it's being streamed on TheCubsFan on Twitch.

Crazy show, not the best Triplemania but a good show, refreshing for AAA to not have a show that sucks balls. Omega/Andrade was a solid 4.25/5 for me

Mistico got released. Caristico (former Sin Cara (the botchy original one)) has now retaken the Mistico name.

This is a big oof for Mistico. He's not nearly as marketable or in demand as his brothers are, and he's lost the only gimmick that he's made his name with.

Man, PDN v Drago/EHD Vikinho/Aerostar could've been such a good match. They weren't even trying to have timing or a flow, they were running through motions for their spots, and if someone was late they just stood there and waited. Amateur shit man.

Very good card, I think. Not as strong as it can be, but certainly some top matches.

Kenny Omega v. El Hijo del Vikingo for the Mega championship at TripleMania Regia II on December 4th. They've also announced Cain Velazquez's return to team with Psycho Clown and Pagano.

Vikingo match is most likely an Omega request, AAA sees nothing in Vikingo. Also, AAA announced that Regia II is gonna kick off their 30th anniversary celebrations including a supposed mega card in May, to the day of AAA's first show.

CMLL announced that TJP is coming in to tag against Titan & Volador Jr. It's his match since 2004. Also announced for the same Super Viernes card was Ultimo Guerrero v. Mistico (Sin Cara). I believe this is their first 1v1 meeting since 2009, but I may be wrong.
