That can be frustrating for non mobile users, but I imagine there’s a web browser version in the works. I assume this was rushed out because of the recent Twitter problems and Zuckerberg wanted to stick it to Elon.

Eyup, it's really what it comes down to, when I heard it was run by Meta I really just grimaced.
I don't really use much social media anymore (outside of MeWe which is where most of my best friends are). Honestly feels much nicer not being sucked into that mire of shit.
