The Official Superstars Draft Rules & Discussion Thread

Now you can choose any past/current wrestlers that you want, you have to make your list look as good as you can. When it's your turn to select a wrestler, you have to give a description on why you decided pick him. You cannot just name the wrestler, a description is a must.

When it's all set and done, we will make a new thread with everyone's list then people can vote for who they believe have the best roster.

Rules

• When on the clock you have a 2-hour window to make your selection. At the end of that window, the next promoter will be on the clock.
• Each round you draft from one of the following selections: 20 male superstars - 5 female superstars/divas/knockouts - 5 tag teams.
• You are given 5 wild card draft picks that can be used for any superstar, tag team or diva/KO.
• The drafting order is snake style. When the last promoter has drafted, the order is reversed and that promoter drafts again.

1. Cas
2. ViperRKO
3. Linebacker

That means in the first round of picks, Cas picks first, followed by you, then me. Then in the next round of picks, I start, then you, then Cas. It snakes, so the person who picks last one round gets the first pick in the next round to make up for it.

So essentially, the people who pick first and last each round will make two picks at a time, one for each round.

Guidelines

• Ideally you should draft talent from at least four different promotions.
• Let's be a little creative and not draft superstars from only current day WWE or TNA.

It's 5:00 pm Eastern Standard Time, The Linebacker is on the clock, he has 24 hours to select his first superstar.


When you are done making your selection(s), please contact the next person on the clock to remind them it's their turn.

Try to give reasons for why you drafted said superstars and maybe give a favorite match or career highlight.


Discussion of the draft and draftees are encouraged. Most importantly, let's have fun with this!

My first choice in the draft is...

Shane Douglas

He lives to start controversy and get attention from the wrestling world. His run in ECW was great, he helped carry the company while still helping to establish other stars in the process. Had he not been the man to throw down the NWA title, we may have never seen an Extreme Championship Wrestling.

I gotta agree with you that Shane is a fine draft. The guy really did help establish ECW. He isn't the "Franchise" for nothing.

I LOVE the Shane Douglas pick Cyrus. I had him on my short list as I think if used properly he could be a mega star. However, since I cannot pick him I will take my number one overall guy and say......................

WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

As far as my reasoning goes, do I really need to say anything else other than its Ric Flair? Considering I've got some really odd picks that I'm sure nobody else will make, I needed a guy who could make stars out of all of them, and nobody can do that better than the Nature Boy.
