Y'all. AJ got so excited that he jumped on to Matt Kauligs back in victory lane. In case you didn't see it. I am still laughing about it. Never in my life have I seen the driver jump on the owners back.

This is probably me reading too much into things, but here we go. After seeing AJ's emotion yesterday, I really wonder if the whole "I'd rather be back in Xfinity" was just kinda him blowing smoke. He hasn't had a particularly good year, and while not terrible, I think he probably wanted better for himself. Dinger is one of more likeable drivers in the garage IMO, and it was great to see him so happy yesterday.

Wow. AJ says he'd prefer to stay in Cup (contrary to what he had reportedly said before), but it looks like he's dropping back down to Xfinity.

Reportedly it’s an issue with sponsorship. Don’t think he brings in enough sponsorship to keep a cup team running. Kaulig has really free fallen.

They've lost Justin Haley, who while not great, was good enough, to the slums of RWR. Dinger is being bumped back to Xfinity. They're about to lose Chandler Smith to JGR in Xfinity, so while Dinger will likely replace him, that's still a huge void. They have two more Xfinity rides, one of which they use as an "all star" car, but that's likely over with Spire/Trackhouse linking up. 5 cars in 2 series, and they have 1 driver in place, and he's not gonna be in a Cup car.
