It is wild how Byron has improved in the cup series. It wasn't long ago that he really struggled and couldn't win anything in that series. He has been the best in Hendrick this year. Granted, Elliott and Bowman have had their issues but still...Byrons been a rocket.

Byron seems to have finally found what he was missing: consistency. He’s been good for one or two wins a year, but then falls off a cliff. He’s gotta be the championship favorite right now.

Also, kudos to juice for picking up the fantasy win this week. Stellar was close behind, continuing a hot streak.

I swapped chase in for Reddick in stage 2 when he was climbing. Oops!

So this is just me, but how in the fuck do you allow Chase Elliot to go out there knowing that he's low on fuel and the road course is much longer than others. I feel like that's entirely on the pit crew for that failure.

His Crew Chief said he got bad information, and thought he could go a lap longer than he did. Which just I don’t know, how does someone not double and triple check that information? Like it’s ridiculous. Don’t know if you heard the radio but they played it afterwards. But Alan Gustafson(the CC) told him he could go like, 3 more laps? Then after the second lap when after he came around the second time Alan said he got wrong information.

Even then, why would you risk it? To me it sounds like Gustafson completely misjudged the length of the course and didn't prep his car just in case.

Gustafson blaming anybody other than himself is total bull shit. If an NFL team goes out there with a shit ass game plan and loses a must-win game, it's not on the assistant coaches. It's on the head coach who ultimately makes the call. The buck stops with him. Gustafson thought that Chase could go three laps on the fucking backup fuel reserve for some unknown reason and it bit them.

I swear the fantasy standings from yesterday look different today than they did yesterday. Same order, but the points look different to me.
