Diamond Sports Group, which provides local television broadcasts for nearly half of NBA, NHL and MLB games, filed for U.S. bankruptcy protection.

Unfortunately, according to multiple sources, it's confirmed that he's expected to miss up to eight months with a torn patellar tendon, prematurely ending his season.

My thoughts and prayers for him.

This sucks huge for the Mets. He's a great closer and they'll have a hard time replacing him. More importantly they marketed the hell out of him and his entrance music and now they won't have that all season.
