Yankees need to learn to get base hits. The whole team keeps swinging for the fences, only Bader is successful at this most of the time these days.

Verlander took a bit to get his groove in the first game, JT looked good, was afraid of what Severino we would get tonight. Besides the unfortunate 3 run homer, he’s been looking pretty good.
Would be nice if Higgy could go back on his hot streak, nice time to do it.

To be fair to Carpenter, he hasn't done shit because he did not come off the IL until the postseason. I agree with giving him a start to get him the ABs to get him going, but clearly it didn't work.
