This match is better than 80% of the matches we have today. This is even better than the Title Matches now.

Scott Hall vs Goldberg - stungun ladder match

It's ridicilous how they were pushing a guy who could perform only 2-3 wrestling moves and was sloppy af. Hill Billy Goldberg might be in top 3 most overrated ever, but nobody complains about his monster push even though everybody bashes Reigns who is about 50x better than Goldberg in every single aspect.

Well...

Let me Explain Mr. Crow.

You see Goldberg was built up naturally over a course of time &
Thankfully kept his mouth shut for the most part. Goldberg was
a "Force of Nature" who simply came out, destroyed whoever was
in his way & moved on. His booking was excellent & played to his
strengths & over time he slowly moved up the food chain (including
a U.S title run) until he was crowned World Champion by defeating
Hulk Hogan on Nitro.

It was a story that was built week by week, win by win & for the most
part the Wrestling audience was captivated by it...

I know I was at the time.

Roman Reigns however went from being "The Hot tag in the Shield"
to somehow being treated as a main event guy even though he had
done nothing to really earn it. Slammy Awards & injury updates &
corny as fuck promos & Royal Rumble wins & Wrestlemania main
events without going through any natural progression as a singles
wrestler.

The WWE rushed Roman to the top so quickly that it basically made
him a "marked man" & a "company puppet" so of course the fans are
going to turn on him & reject his push.

Not to mention that most of the wrestling audience wanted to see
Daniel Bryan vs. Brock Lesnar in Wrestlemania 31 main event...but
the attitude from the WWE seemed to be "NO! We gave you what
you wanted last year! This year is about what we want! Cheer for'
Roman you sheep!"

If the WWE had taken there time with Roman & built him up with a
natural push (including a mid-card title run) then the fans would
never have turned on him in the first place.

Look at Edge...

In my opinion Edge had THE Perfect career as a wrestler as far as
natural career progression...but Roman? It was so rushed & forced
that it is actually painful to think about.

The entire WWE product was bent out of shape & nearly broken
because they picked Reigns & they wanted him as "The Guy" as
soon as possible even when he clearly wasn't ready for the role.

So...in summary...

Is Roman a better wrestler than Goldberg?

Yes...of course he is.

But was Goldberg booked & handled better (at least in his original
"streak" run)?

Yes...he was.

Sometimes it isn't about the in-ring or promo skills of a wrestler...
its the story you tell with them...& Goldberg's original run/story was
fucking awesome.

What compelling story has the WWE ever told with Roman Reigns?

Roman Reigns is uncomperably better in-ring than Goldberg. I also think that anybody would be a better wrestler than Goldberg with just 3 months of training. He was a normal sized guy with the skills of a Khali. Literally every heavyweight wrestler on the roster could finish all Goldberg matches while doing it better than him. It’s not the point if he was pushed slowely or imidietely, US title before the world one or not, he didn’t deserve anything. His entire booking is a mockery of the sport, pretty much tells you that every jobber can achieve major success and hold the most prestigious titles. Crowd cheers are no excuse, going by that logic they should have made R-Truth a multiple world champion as well.

So...because he defeated cancer you gave him a free pass?

Where did I say that? The Drew feud was good even though I thought Drew should have won at Mania. The Shane feud is not his fault, The Best in the World reign of terror has been bad no matter who was feuding with Shane. And I am really enjoying this storyline with Bryan/Rowan.

Yeah...Drew being completely buried was great...

The Shane feud is not his fault, The Best in the World reign of terror has been bad no matter who was feuding with Shane.
So even you admit that was cringe...

Well you maybe one of the few...because just from
reading about it...it sounds as lame as half a squirrel
trying to drag itself off a highway...but hey...you do you.

KANA's last match in Japan before leaving and joining NXT. Also, Konami is the one and only person trained by Asuka/KANA
