That can only be fed with the destruction of people’s so called heroes, so called champions and so called fans favorites. The Franchise has no fear.



Over the years he has learned to rely on his cunning, wit and most importantly his experience. The Franchise feels like he one of the last people who truly value carry the old essence of the business. Steve Sanders feels alone in a world full of sharks, he is trying to reclaim his former glory, his inner fears is people not remembering the impact he has left on the business. Ego: He believes in himself abit to much, this could be a strength too but Sanders does not know when he bites off more than he can chew. This is the one thing that caused the rift between him and others most of the time.

Pride: Anything Steve feels challenges his stance as a man, he will get involved, until the bitter end.

No Trust: The events he has experienced through his long career makes it hard for him to trust new people.

Steven: His pet peeve, he hates being called Steven and will bring about unknown reactions out of him depending on who is saying it and his emotions.


Strengths:
Won’t Quit: Steve Sanders has been involved in far too many dangerous matches and stipulations, his mentor Justyn Sayne has placed him in constant situations to prepare him for the road to greatness and it’s pitfalls. His time in Imperia was the greatest testament to this won’t quit attitude which also has placed him in different place than most of the people he has faced over the years. This is what gave him longevity in the business.

The lights dim down as "The Franchise Has Arrived..." flashes, then "Messiah" flashes, then "God" flashes, "The Franchise" Steve Sanders flashes on the screen as the guitar solo from "Savior” by Skillet begins, standing there light blinking red and white lights as the song cuts in, raising his arms up in a godly pose, the jacket does a shutdown effect cutting all the lights off and the music stops...fans start booing, then a voice does a countdown effect, 10..9..8...7...6...5...4...3..1...the words "Your Savior Has Arrived" as the pyro blows up across the stage as the music cuts back in, The Franchise flips around on his axle standing there with a smug look on his face. Donning white and red wrestling boots, with an design of an weird machina lines intersecting around to the shin. The trunks had an design of an the same machina lines creating an even pattern around the whole piece. The back of his trunks have The Franchise in red graffiti with white outline. His elbow pads the same. The jacket is black with what appears to be lights on the jacket. The jacket is still flashing red lights as he looks to the left of the arena.

They both start down the ramp with very confident stroll down the ramp, staring out at the crowd, he always receives a mixed reaction, sometimes being The Chosen One just isn't an easy job. The Franchise looks at a camera sitting ringside and can be heard mouthing the words, "Welcome To The Sanders Zone, it's my time now!" The Franchise hops up on the apron and looks at a random fan and gives them a snarl. "The Franchise" Steve Sanders turns around and stands on the apron, as he enters the ring walking to the middle of the ring...The Franchise throws his arms up again as fury of red pyro creates an raining effect behind him in the ring. His red jacket starts lighting up the words in a marquee of words like Franchise, Savior, Messiah before going solid red flashing before the lights before it looks like it does a complete shutdown.

He goes to one of the corner turnbuckles and hops up on it to throw his arms out and soak up the praise of his followers.

Character Biography*:

Edward Allen Beatty III, born to Vicky Bowen and Edward Beatty JR on March 13, 1984 in Cincinnati, Ohio was destined to be in front of a crowd slamming someone down on the mat. His dad started him out by watching 1980 greats such as Hulk Hogan and Sting, which prompt the young man to wrestle much like his idols which they were called at one time. He wrestled his entire life, starting in elementary school in little fights on the playground all the way up to Junior High when he joined the Wrestling Team of Porter Middle School and dominated the middleweight division for an entire two years, he won so many matches and titles during those two years that High School coaches were trying to recruit him, but, Edward ignored that until it was time to enter high school. The entire summer he listen to scouts and finally, two months before school started, he picked his High School, which was West High.


But, as we know it, Edward was a good kid until he reached the ninth grade, when he met Kevin Putteet, within the same neighborhood they were living in. Kevin was dating Edward's sister and one day, Kevin was about to fight about ten people, all by himself, and little to Kevin's surprise, Edward jumped in and they both whipped some ass. That little event went into a friendship, long after Kevin and Edward’s sister broke up. They both went to West High, both wrestled on the heavyweight level, and was both the best in the nation. They often had to face each other to win tournaments and it was often, back and forth, always tying with each other, till this day, they only beat each other once. They were so close, that, a match between these two were like watching a real World Title Match on TV, which is what Edward wanted everyone to look at it as. But, don't let good grades and stuff fool, you.


Edward was apart of the streets as well, everyone knows Lower Price Hill had that belief system. The two top wrestlers at West High were in charge of it all. Kevin broke Edward in one night and they did everything, partied, sold drugs and shit, but, it was one day, that, Kevin and Edward had a serious discussion, that they both wanted to become professional wrestlers after High School. Kevin and Edward agreed that whoever hit it big, got everyone who wanted to wrestle on board, somehow and someway. One other person coming into this circle was Cecil Ingle, some big man who was actually a bodyguard for the two's gang of people and looked like he can wrestle, even though he never tried, but, he wanted in the deal also.

So, after four years of High School, Kevin didn't attend school one day, and Edward found out that Kevin was popped with drugs and killed someone, but, Edward's money for getting into wrestling was transferred over to his bank account before Kevin got popped, so Edward moved on with his plans. Cecil took control of the streets, as Edward traveled to his first indy wrestling show in Cameron, New Jersey under the moniker of Steve Sanders, which he was crafting during his high school wrestling career. Steve met a man named Jim Rumple, who ring name was Justyn Sayne, and they talked for hours, and came to the conclusion that they both had what each other needed to get where they wanted.

So, off to Red Deer, Canada they went, and a lot of hard struggles came and went over the next couple years, Edward made the big time by 1999, and Kevin was getting out in a couple months. Edward made it to SCW, where Kevin got brought in by Edward, and sooner than later, they split paths and Cecil came in, with Kevin as they braved the path of wrestling alone. Edward was caught up in his fame, not worried about nobody but himself, it went to his head. I guess that happens to somebody with such natural raw talent in the ring. Edward made it even bigger by the time he reached The Colosseum in 2001, whereas his wife Karen Sanders was pregnant with his son, but, Edward just ignored her, they been high school sweethearts and been dating for quite sometime.

Edward left wrestling, as his wife staged her death, and that left poor Edward with no drive to wrestle. It came back to him a year later when in 2002, his friend Jim Rumple brought Edward to Brandon Harwell of Imperia, and Edward has been snapped back to reality of life, and been including his friends more often. Edward returned to wrestling, and finally, Kevin and Cecil been reunited with Edward, who took this time, to be with Imperia for two solid years, which was in a professional UFC setting, the fights were real, and the injuries more real. Steve and company left in late 2003 when Imperia closed, and Steve has been working indy shows since, but picked up a contract offer from LAW once again, and went on to claim the LAW Elite Championship, and was royally screwed and fired, but kept the LAW Elite Championship.


The Chosen One weaved in and out retirement, making brief stops in GWA and NEW until finally, he came back to PWF, but due to some unforeseen personal events, he had to exit the company. Now he is back, to save the game. Again. After teaming up with his fellow comrades, the Anti-Establishment, Steve Sanders was seriously injured by Halfbreed. The Chosen One rehabbed his injuries, and vowed to come back to be the "end" as we know it. He returned to Shockvalue in October of 2012, to stalk his prey. Before revealing himself on October 16th, 2012 and took out Halfbreed, followed by clearing out most of The Establishment before his contract expired and he chose not to renew his contract with Pulse.

Steve Sanders married his girlfriend Wakki Jackie, who has been apart of his life throughout most of his career, this is one of the main reasons Trent Helms has a strong dislike of him. Wakki was Trent's huge crush and she didn't return his feelings and off on off during their relationship she was having an affair with Steve Sanders.

During that time, his friendship with Kevin ended. Meanwhile, The Chosen One just kept training to remain in shape, until the time was right. He re-debuted when The Colosseum reopened it's doors to have it's 2014 Lord of The Colosseum, it's been ten years since an Colosseum event has been held. Sanders drew the legendary Alpha Hapf going under his legal name Keith Brand, supposedly a washed up old fart. Sanders and him met, and it would appear Sanders was gaining the upper hand until the man known as Buzzkiller appeared, and interfered in the match costing Sanders the match and Branding Hapf.


Meanwhile, Justice granted Sanders a chance at redemption against Buzzkiller. Night two of LOTC 2014 was the night, and Sanders took it to BK, just to only be beaten and almost ending up like Jesus. Meanwhile, it would appear the public prodding of Justin Sellers over the years finally got the big man's attention. LOTC 2014, night three it was Sellers Vs Sanders I: Loser Leaves The Colosseum. For good. Sanders took him to task and defeated the big man, his old mentor in the middle of the ring. Also, in the meantime stealing his Colosseum World Heavyweight Championship. In the meantime, Julia Hill was looking at Sanders long and hard, as her future. 2014 Hall Of Fame rolls around, and it is revealed...Julia Hill uses her power and dubs Steve Sanders as her "Chosen One" and The Colosseum World Heavyweight Champion.


Bodie Styles takes offense and a brawl breaks out at the HOF, with the headline reading: Styles Vs Sanders: Summer Spectacular 2014 Night Three for The Colosseum World Heavyweight Championship. In the meantime, Hill and Sanders revealed that they will be joining forces with a stable called "The Regime". It's members grew fast, Jason Dyers, Menace, Cecil, Wakki, Alpha Hapf, Defiance, Syn, Buzzkiller. During this time, Buzzkiller was accidentally murdered. And Sanders grabbed The Colosseum by the throat, going on to have a classic matches against Chris Velmont and Dan Forge during The Lethal Lottery Tag Tourney. Sanders was tagged up with Jason Dyers, which saw Sanders go up against Bodie Styles night two...which Sanders ending up winning. During this time, Jackie and Sanders begin getting stalked. Eventually, Wakki Jackie was kidnapped. The Chosen One was pitted against Bodie Styles in a fight for the WH title and the rights to "The Chosen One" name, which on that faithful night, 85 days in as Champion, Sanders was defeated. The same night Sanders found out that Wakki Jackie who was found, and transported to ICU has passed away. Details surrounding the circumstances are still being investigated, and since the wrap of Summer Spectacular Steve Sanders has been unreachable...his number disconnected...he hasn't been seen in public since and asked for a release from his contract.​

The limo is dashing through the rain. The pitter patter against the glass makes the moment even more gloomy. Wakki Jackie’s mascara has ran all down her face. She is just looking out the window at the passing lights almost in a daze. Cecil is sitting in silence. Arm around Wakki Jackie. The look on his face is of anger and confusion. He looks at Wakki but she doesn’t return his gaze. He just stares at her for a moment. Smiling. He pulls her closer. Granted in her emotional state she is very subjective to his move unaware of his motive. She looks at him and begins crying again.



Cecil: I know Jackie, I know. He’s just got a lot on his mind. Coupled with the concussion he is just a very confident headstrong person.



Jackie: But, what the hell is he doing? In this entire time of our marriage never once has he acted that cold toward me. He hit you. Don’t you see his behavior as odd. I just fear he is gonna do something to himself or heaven forbid someone else and I’m never gonna see him again.


Cecil: The thing about Edward is sometimes he just needs to be alone. Nothing no one says or does can influence that. You just gotta be patient. When we get back to the hotel room I’m placing a call to Julia Hill to see if she can locate Sanders.


Jackie: He’s not answering our calls Cecil. He gots the money to do god knows what and go god knows where he wants. He is not thinking straight. You think you know him but he’s starting to lose it. You don’t see the signs, he’s becoming wrapped up in proving himself to the point he’s beginning to alienate us.



Cecil grabs her face and starts kissing her, she begins to struggle, grabbing his massive wrist but she can’t ward him off, eventually she settles down, kissing him back before her eyes shoot wide open! She smacks him in the face which startles him! She looks at him in shock!


Jackie: CECIL! WHAT WAS THAT!? I didn’t ask for you to kiss...more importantly I’m married to your best friend!



Cecil: Best friend! Don’t kid yourself sweetie. Don’t you see he doesn’t care about me or you? He stormed off into the middle of the night on us! He left you in the care of another man. He doesn’t love you! Not the way I would love you.



Jackie: Cecil, I love Edward. I always loved him and Edward has always looked out for you, you know your wrong. When Steve find-



Cecil grabs her by the throat, choking her. She starts trying to scratch his arms, her eyes bulging, color starting to leave her face. Cecil has this evil look on his face. He smiles as she starts to struggle harder. Oxygen leaving her body fast.



Cecil: You tell Edward about this I will make your life a living hell. You keep your mouth shut and understand that if you don’t give in what I want, I will make sure that you think he has lost his mind now. What I will do your husband will never be the same again. Your relationship will never be the same again. What you don’t understand is I grew up with him. I know what makes him tick, what makes him break. What will reduce the “Chosen One” into nothing. Just a sad shell of the man who thinks he is the best but he isn’t.



He releases his grip and pushes her against the seat...leaning in to smell her perfume. The scared look on her face tells it all. He licks the side of her face, most of the mascara leaving her face. He chuckles.


Cecil: The taste of your tears and flesh bring me a lot of excitement. See Wakki Jackie Steve Sanders doesn’t deserve you, he doesn’t deserve anything he has earned. While I sat back and watched him and Kevin gain this so called fame I watched. I stood by and watched. But no more. Everything they have will be mine. Including you.


Jackie: You’re crazy. You can’t-



He places a hand over her mouth. Putting his index finger up to his lips. The look in his eyes tells the story that Wakki can see. She finally shakes her head, crying again. Knowing that Cecil means every word.



Cecil: Shh…. I can hurt Steve right now. I have you. You think when I kidnapped Sonya that I gave a damn about Purgatory? What makes you think I will care when it comes to something I crave? Something I dream about. You know what I’m capable off.


He removes his hand from her mouth and leans in toward her ear, licking and kissing it as she shakes with fear. He whispers something in her ear. Her eyes bust wide open with shock! She begins to shake even more. Tears begin to stream down her face. He pulls back to observe her reaction and begins laughing with joy. Glee that he has shaken this powerful woman to her core.



Cecil: That’s right sweet cheeks. I did that. It’s been my deep dark secret all along. Oh how I enjoyed watching the look on his face when I made that happen. And guess what she has been watching the whole time. Knows his every move. But you, if you so much as even say a word I will make sure that your marriage will be over!



Jackie: How!?



He laughs again. She is sobbing now but is fearful of Cecil Ingle. He pulls out of his pocket a voice changer. He puts it up to his mouth with a smile. The first voice he clicks on is not recognizable.



Cecil: Cause he abandon me for his career.


She looks at him confused. He smiles again obviously knowing she doesn’t get it. He clicks the next voice. One that will seem familiar. Not a soul has ever thought Cecil Ingle had this much pent up aggression. This much hatred deep inside.



Cecil: I love you Cecil Ingle. I never cared about you Edward Beatty. I always would imagine you were Cecil during our romantic nights. Oh how I long to put the Colosseum World Title around his massive six pack. It’s obvious why your wife left you Edward. She never loved you. She always loved Cecil. OH how you always need to remember you latch onto destructive relationships. Blame your mom! Blame your father!


Wakki Jackie is shaking with horror, sadness, anger and confusion at what she is hearing. Hearing being mimicked by her own voice. How did she miss him doing this. How did he get away with this.



Jackie: You sick bastard!



Cecil: So I am told. So what you're gonna do is shut the hell up. Pretend this isn’t happening at all. Or if so much as even a sign that my plan gets out. I will end your marriage with a simple phone call. You love little Steven don’t you? Cause if you reveal this plan you can accept that no one will ever want you. And I will always be the one who wants you. I will have you one way or another.



He leans into her vicinity, she jumps with fear. Shaking uncontrollably. He kisses her cheek while smelling her hair. He looks her in the eyes. His eyes are filled with rage. Hate.



Cecil: You’re gonna call Julia Hill and have her find Steve. Meanwhile me and you will go back to the hotel and I got something to show you. Something that will change your life forever. Something Steve doesn’t want you to know. Something that will perhaps change your outlook on your whole relationship on Steven.



Cecil pulls out his phone and extends it near her. She reluctantly grabs it. Dialing Julia’s number. The phone picks up on the other end.



Hill: Hey Cecil-



Jackie: It’s not Cecil. it’s me Jackie.



Hill: What’s wrong Jackie you don’t sound fine? Something wrong?



Jackie: Yeah, Steve is missing. He stormed off after the show, he hurt Ray Styles took the title and stormed off into the night. I need you to help find him.



Hill: I’m gonna get Menace and the police on it honey. Don’t worry. What did the doctor say and where is Cecil?



She looks at Cecil nervously, as he just grins this big smile.



Jackie: The doctor said he has a more serious concussion. That he shouldn’t make wrestle for awhile. Cecil...is..um sitting right here.



Hill: Shit! Okay you guys just hang tight at the hotel. I’m getting on the phone right now with Colosseum officials and the Seattle Police Department. I’ll call you with any news. Just rest easy I promise you we will bring Steven home and deal with whatever has to be dealt with then. Could you please put Cecil on the phone.



She looks at Cecil and hands him the phone. He grabs the phone and holds up to his ear with a half smirk. Winking at Wakki Jackie who just looks at him with disgust.



Cecil: Yeah?


Hill: You have the faintest idea where Steve might be?


Cecil: He’s a bar type of person. Who knows though. He could be anywhere. On his way back to Vegas, California hell even back to Ohio. Maybe he misses his ex-wife.



Wakki Jackie shoots him a dirty glare. He laughs at her obvious uncomfortable and the words are like daggers to her heart.



Hill: What the hell you talking about Cecil? Ex-wife? Why would he miss her and what does this have anything to do with his whereabouts?



Cecil: Listen, you asked my opinion. I gave it. Otherwise I don’t know and if he can’t man up like a real Champion then I don’t know what to tell you.
