The Beginning of the End of the Beginning

The Immovable Object vs. The Immovable Object
Yokozuna vs. Tugboat

The two big men square off to begin, but big Tugboat tries to move Yokozuna, but he doesn't move. Yokozuna pushes back and Tugboat barely budges but then before you know it Yokozuna is swinging forearms to Tugboat's head. He has him reeling, then manages to lift him and plant him with a samoan drop and from that point on it is all Yokozuna. He throws Tugboat around the whole match looking like a monster as he finishes it off with a big Banzai Drop.

W!W!W! Light Heavyweight Championship of the World
Jerry Lynn vs. Chavo Guerrero vs. Chris Candido vs. Kazarian

Another face paced match, of course. Jerry Lynn being crafty, Kazarian showing his athleticism, Candido strong-arming everybody and Chavo throwing people around with suplexes. Kazarian and Candido end up on the top rope and Kazarian gets the upper hand and hits the Flux Capicator but before he can make the cover Chavo leaps across the ring from the opposite turnbuckle with a frog splash on Candido and tries to get the win himself but Kaz breaks it up. Kaz and Chavo trading punches now, until Jerry Lynn runs off the ropes and clotheslines them both. Kaz runs out of the ring as Chavo gets to his feet and Lynn kicks him in the midsection, lifts him and then drops him on his head with a cradle piledriver! He makes the cover, Kaz tries to get back in the ring to break it up and Candido lunges towards them as well but it's too late and Jerry Lynn becomes the first W!W!W! Light Heavyweight Championship of the Word

W!W!W! Championship of North America
The Mountie vs. Dusty Rhodes vs. Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart vs. Jerry "The King" Lawler

This elimination match starts out slower than the rest, with each men sizing the other ones up, and figuring out their game plans, but once the action starts it hits hard. At one point the Anvil is destroying everybody and looks to be on top but Jerry Lawler the sneaky bastard that he is sneaks up and low blows Neidhart and as he's worrying about that and in pain he rolls him up, grabs the tights AND puts his feet up on the ropes, neither of which the referee sees and The King eliminates The Anvil. The Anvil gets up immediately, still in pain but he starts trying to tell the referee what happens, but the referee says the decision has already been made. Lawler is pointing and laughing at Neidhart and The Anvil is twitching and stroking his beard in anger and then... he snaps. He's swinging and hitting the King hard. Then he throws him outside, follows him out and then the Anvil lifts the King high in the air and drops him on the concrete with the Anvil Flattener. The referee starts counting Lawler out and he's not moving, he's still unconscious as the ref counts to 10 and Jerry "The King" Lawler has been eliminated. Now it's down to the American Dream and the Canadian Authority. Dusty Rhodes vs. The Mountie. But it doesn't start out evenly because as the referee was focused on counting out Lawler, The Mountie has somehow procured a Canadian nightstick and was beating Dusty with it. As soon as the referee turns around he throws it out of the ring, but the damage has already been done. He makes the cover and The Mountie is going to steal this North American Championship... but no, Dusty kicks out! The Mountie isn't happy with that and he argued with the referee, calling him racist towards Canadians and such but as he does this he's letting Dusty get up and the fans are cheering him on as he gets to his feet. The Mountie turns and starts throwing, but Dusty blocks them and starts hitting him with his own and The American Dream is going for it! Fists, forearms and final elbows and just as The Mountie is really staggering the Bionic Elbow comes out and he goes down and out! The American Dream makes the cover as the crowd cheers on as the referee counts to three and the American Dream is the Champion of all of North America!

W!W!W! Tag Team Championships of the World
The Hart Dynasty vs. The American Wolves vs. The Rising Sons vs. The Backseat Boyz

This was a very faced paced match from all four teams. Both speed and technique on display in this one with all teams getting the upper hand at one point. Tyson Kidd gets Trent Acid in a sharpshooter and it looks like it might be the end, but The Great Muta comes from out of nowhere and green mist right in Kidd's face causing him to break the hold. But then DH Smith comes running over and clotheslines Muta out of the ring. DH Smith turns around and he gets a super kick for his trouble from Eddie Edwards and he goes down. Johnny Kashmere runs at Edwards and drops him with a spear. Masahiro Chono tries to get involved now and he tries to take Edwards head off with a Kenka Kick but Edwards ducks and then Davey Richards comes from behind and lifts Chono threw the air and drops him with a dragon suplex. The American Wolves look at each other and they're now in sync. Trent Acid gets to his feet but as he does he is met with a superkick heard round the world by Edwards and then dropped on his head with a german suplex by Richards as he makes the cover and Edwards holds Acid down for more leverage and The American Wolves win the Tag Team Championships!

The Wolves are awarded their belts and celebrate after a hard fought victory, but then the lights go out and then a spotlight, a blood red spotlight, shines down on the stage as Father James Mitchell suddenly appears there and the teams all stand in the ring, in the dark, perplexed. He has a mic in his hand and he begins to speak.

Father James Mitchell
"You know, prejudice and discrimination is a terrible thing in the wresting business. I see you four so-called tag teams standing in that ring and I laugh at each and everyone of you, I laugh because I know something you don't. I laugh because I know this whole match was just a farce, completely and utterly pointless because you see, a certain team was excluded from this little get together and they're not very happy about it. They have been held down and discriminated against for too long, but no more. You see I went to the deepest, darkest parts of the world as only I do and what I brought back with me are three monsters. Three killers. And not one of them, not one of them discriminate against any one of you because, well... they hate you all equally and now... now they're going to eat you all for breakfast."

Mitchell laughs as the spotlight suddenly goes on and his laughter is all that can be heard throughout the dark arena. Then there is a loud commotion in the ring and after only a few moments the lights go back on and bodies are laid out everywhere and standing in the center of the ring are three huge monsters of men as Kamala, Akeem and Abdullah stand tall, bodies at their feet as The African Plague has just swept in to W!W!W!

Texas Deathmatch for the W!W!W! Championship of Brutality
Terry Funk vs. Kevin Steen

This one was brutality from beginning to end. Steen killing Funk, Funk killing Steen. Violence, violence and more violence. Both men are already beat up but Funk being the crazy old fuck he is goes out and gets some tacks and brings them into play. He lays them out on the mat and their pointed edges shine as Funk tries to lift Steen and piledrive him into the tacks, but Steen overpowers him and sends him back first into the tacks! Funk is rolling around in pain and what does Steen do? He just hauls off and punts him in the head, stopping his rolling around and he makes the cover, Steen almost gets the three but Funk kicks out, he could have just taken the three count and took the time to rest on the 10 count, but the crazy old bastard ain't having any of that! They battle to the outside, chairs are flying, both men hitting each other in the head, arms, back, legs, they're both just beat up from head to toe as they make their way up the ramp. They're really throwing down when Funk smashes Steen's head into the steel titantron, knocking him loopy, then he kicks him in the gut and he has him in position for a piledriver on the metal stage! But wait, Steen overpowers him and lifts him, spins him around and before Funk can even react he's in position and being package piledriven right on the steel and there's a huge thud as he hits hard! Steen rolls over, that clearly taking a huge gust of energy from him as well and he makes the cover... 1... 2... 3. Funk has been pinned and Steen rolls off and tries to get to his feet as the 10 count starts. The referee is counting, but Funk is stirring, the count is up to 4 and then 5 and Funk is getting up at 6! He stumbles and falls back down. 7. 8. He's getting up, he's up! Terry Funk is still somehow alive and he gets up at the count of 9. Steen is exhausted himself and can't believe what he is seeing, but he doesn't let up he charges at Funk but somehow Funk is still throwing punches with bloody knuckles, only getting bloodier from Steen's face as both men are sporting crimson masks by this point. Funk has backed Steen up and he's right at the edge of the stage and both men are throwing down as they stand above a very big drop. Funk is really starting to get the better of Steen, can he still pull this off! Steen is teetering at the edge of the stage! Funk steps back and charges at Steen, but Steen dodges it and now Funk is tetering on the edge! Steen with a kick to the gut and he puts him in position, is it another package piledriver? No he lifts him up in a powerbomb position, spinning around as he does so and then... Steenalizer! He just THROWS Terry Funk behind him, threw the air and off the stage! Terry Funk crashes and burns and he must be broken in half! Steen starts yelling at the referee to start counting, but the referee tells him he needs to make the pin and Steen answers by grabbing the referee and physically dragging him with him as he makes he way off the stage to where Terry Funk lay, broken. Steen just puts a foot on Funk's chest and the referee counts... 1... 2... 3. The ten count starts and this time Terry Funk doesn't even move. The referee gets to ten and there is still no movement. Kevin Steen collapses against the side of the stage as he raises his hands in victory, as the Champion of Brutality.

A medical crew and EMTs immediately rush out to tend to Terry Funk, his brother Dory Funk following behind, concerned for his brother. Steen sees Dory as he is making his way up the ramp and stares him down, Dory puts his hands up, ready for a fight as Steen charges him and despite Dory putting up a fight Steen eventfully gets the upperhand. Then he drags Dory Funk over to the edge of the stage and at this point people are running from the back trying to stop this chaos as the medical personnel attend to Terry Funk, but Kevin Steen is a nightmare that can not be stopped as he lifts Dory Funk and powerbombs him on the stage! The EMTs clear out as he crashes right beside his brother. Kevin Steen raises his new Championship, one he definitely earned in the brutality he displayed tonight, as the Funk family lay below him, destroyed.

Number One Contender Match for the W!W!W! Heavyweight Championship of the World
Mr. Perfect vs. Eddie Guerrero vs. Kurt Angle

One hell of a triple threat. All three men on the top of their games, all three men wanting that World Title shot. Eddie is lying, cheating and stealing and the other two... are doing the same thing, only Angle doing it with more "integrity" and Perfect doing it, well... perfectly. Technique and speed is all on display in this one. Eddie really gets going at one point and starts hitting Perfect with suplexes, one, two and then the three amigos. Then he grabs a hold of Angle and is about to German suplex him but Kurt blocks it, spins around and German suplexes Eddie instead. Hits him with one and then another and then releases him on the third. Kurt bounces to his feet just as Perfect is getting to his and turning around and Angle grabs him for an Angle Slam but Perfect spins out of it and reverses it to hit Angle with a belly-to-back suplex. Perfect makes the cover but doesn't even get a two, still a lot of fight in Angle. Both men get to their feet and as they do, Guerrero runs at them. He dropkicks Angle, then gets us and goes to do the same to Perfect... but Perfect has him beat to it as he hits a picture perfect dropkick and drops Eddie to the mat. Mr. Perfect gets up, the only man standing, and taunts to the crowd a little bit as both men get up. The action continues as Angle and Perfect go toe-to-toe, but they forget about Eddie who springboards off the ropes and manages to catch and plant both of them with a DDT! Eddie then leaps up, look down at both of them, laying close together, and decides to go up to the top rope and he leaps off with a Frog Splash, intended to hit both men, but Perfect rolls out of the way and Angle gets his knees up, right in the ribs of Eddie. Eddie rolls over in pain as Angle begins to get up and Perfect already has got up and he hits Angle with a knee, dropping him back to the mat as Eddie gets to his feet using the ropes. As Eddie turns around he's met with a kick to the midsection and then the Perfect-Plex! He hits it and he hooks the leg and Perfect is going to be the number one contender... but no, Angle grabs Perfect by the leg, pulls him off and then locks in the ankle lock! He drops down, wrapping his legs around Perfect legs for maximum pressure and Perfect is in pain and may be forced to tap out, but wait... Eddie is climbing to the top turnbuckle! He gets there quick and leaps off and frog splashes Angle forcing him to break the hold, then he hooks the leg and makes a cover but Perfect is up, limping on that leg, but he manages to break up the pin attempt. Eddie notices the limp and immediately attacks Perfect's ankle and leg, kicking it out from underneath him. Then as soon as Perfect is down Eddie grabs his legs and then locks in the Lasso from El Passo! Putting tremendous pressure on Perfect's legs and back, he's in more pain and again looks to be close to tapping out, but then Angle is up and he grabs Eddie and he Angle Slams him breaking the hold! Angle pops right back up and he grabs Perfect ankle and is going to finish the job, but Perfect fights back and he hops up, spins himself around, and then boom, enziguri! He kicks the taste out of Angle's mouth and he drops and all three men are now down. Who will get to their feet first? Eddie is the first one to stir and he gets up using the ropes and as he sees the other two still down and in the right position, he climbs to the top rope, looking for another frog splash to finish it all off, but just as he gets to the top, Angle uses one last burst of energy to leap up and jump to the top rope and Angle Slam off the top turnbuckle and he drops Eddie right on Perfect, then pins them both...1... 2... 3! Kurt Angle is the number one contender!

Main Event
W!W!W! Heavyweight Championship of the World

Bret "Hitman" Hart vs. Owen Hart

The match starts with a handshake between two brothers. They both want this and they both know the other is going to give it everything they have to win that World Title. It starts out for a few tests of strength, big brother testing little brother, little brother trying his hardest to best big brother, but in the end it is essentially a stalemate. When they realize that isn't working the brothers just start swinging for the fences and it's now a good old fashioned Hart Family fist fight! But still it's very back and forth and neither brother gets the better than the other. They trade clotheslines and dropkicks. Owen drops Bret with a spinning wheel kick, but Bret gets up, drops under another kick from Owen and runs off the ropes and hits him with a running crossbody into a pin but just as the referee gets down Owen uses the momentum to roll and end up on top in a pin of his own, and he gets a two before Bret realizes what happened and kicks out. Both men up, Owen grabs Bret and throws him with a belly-to-belly suplex. Owen jumps up and climbs to the top turnbuckle, but Bret doesn't stay down long and he's climbing too. They battle for awhile at the top but Bret gets the upperhand and then throws him from the top with a superplex! Both Harts come crashing down. Bret crawls over and covers Owen but he only gets a two. But Bret gets up and he looks down at his younger brother and decides it time and he locks in the sharpshooter! Putting pressure of Owen's back which was already in pain from the superplex. He is clearly in pain but he's fighting and fighting and pulling himself towards the ropes... and he makes it! He grabs the ropes and Bret breaks the hold. But he doesn't let go of Owen's legs and he drags him to the center of the ring and it looks like he's going to lock in the sharpshooter again, but he's hesitating, like he doesn't want to inflict anymore pain on his brother. As he is hesitating though, Owen reacts out of instinct and rolls Bret up into a cradle pin and the ref drops to make the count... 1... 2... 3! Oh my god he did it! Out of nowhere Owen rolls up Bret and wins the World Championship!

Both men seem to be in disbelief as Owen is presented with the W!W!W! Heavyweight Championship of the World and his hand is raised by the referee. Owen gets to his feet and looks at his raised hand and then down at the belt and then he raises the belt high in the air over his head as he realizes that he finally did it, he's finally a World Champion and at the same time he finally defeated his brother! Bret is up now and he looks at Owen with the belt and Owen looks back and Bret still looks absolutely shocked and bewildered, but he shakes that off and a smile appears over his face as he hugs his brother. As they embrace, Jim Neidhart, Tyson Kidd and DH Smith come running down the ramp and all four men raise Owen high above their head as he holds the World Championship high above his and the PPV fades to black.
