True they have been more consistent and next year they should aim to bump the average rating from 1.2 to 1.3

Thursday night’s episode of Impact Wrestling garnered a 1.11 (1.1) cable rating, with 1.60 million viewers. That number is down in the overall rating but up in average viewers from last week, when it drew a 1.16 and 1.51 million viewers.

The show ranked #36 among cable TV shows in overall viewers for the night, #21 in the male 18-34 demographic and #15 among males 18-49, all of which are below the 2011 average. The show had competition from Jersey Shore on MTV, which premiered to an audience of 7.5 million viewers, as well as the Miami Heat game on TNT which drew 3 million viewers. The demo ratings were about even with last week’s show.

TNA are still very consistent when it comes to Impact. The rating doesn't change to much from week to week as they always end up around that 1.2 mark. Not sure what they need to push out of that range and get closer to a 1.5 on a regular basis.

Last night’s episode of iMPACT! Wrestling did a 1.12 cable rating, with 1.60 million viewers. That’s even with last week’s rating as well as the 2011 yearly average.

The show ranked #32 among cable TV shows in overall viewers, #14 among males 18-34, and #9 among males 18-49. There were increases in the key male demographics, particularly the important 18 – 49 demo, which was the highest rating since October.

Every wrestling show is stuck at the same rating at the moment, no show is getting a bigger audience but on the flip side the ratings aren't dropping either.

The 1/26 edition of Impact did a 1.17 rating with 1,597,000 viewers.

Steady rating yet again, can't seem to get away from the 1.2 rating.

Nothing wrong with maintaining an audience, however you do like to see growth in this area as well.

Final 2/9 TNA Impact Wrestling Rating: Lowest Draw of 2012
Last night's edition of TNA Impact Wrestling on SpikeTV finished with a 1.05 cable rating.

This number is down from last week's 1.15 draw, and is the lowest the show has scored thus far in 2012.

TNA ratings starting to drop again, I'm surprised, wasn't this the big UK event with the main event as a tag match with Sting wrestling?

Could people have been tuning out simply because it is an overseas show? I caught some of it and the atmosphere was incredible, TNA should stick around in the UK for a couple of months and run shows there in front of 7k fans.

How has it been proven that Ring Da King is more successful than Impact? What rating does it get in the US?

The #1 Contender’s Knockout Battle Royal featuring Angelina Love, Brooke Tessmacher, Madison Rayne, Mickie James, ODB, Rosita, Sarita, Tara, Velvet Sky and Winter prevented Thursday’s Impact Wrestling from garnering the show’s lowest rating of the year as the match outdrew the entire show by a sizable margin.

Thursday’s show garnered a 1.06 cable rating off hours of 1.02 and 1.10, flat with last week’s year-low 1.06. The #1 Contender’s Knockout Battle Royal, which kicked off the second hour, surged the rating from a 1.04 to a 1.23—an 18.3 percent increase. The subsequent quarter hour featuring Eric Bischoff’s celebratory promo plummeted to a 1.00.

No wonder the KOs want a payraise. That is a massive increase for their match yet they are probably paid the same as most midcarders in TNA. Really shows what fans want to see out of TNA. There was talk a couple of years ago about Spike adding a KOs show, it would be an hour long and feature nothing but the KO's division. Would be interesting to see that happen now and to see what the reaction would be when it outrates Impact.
