I mean, the Time Person of the Year has been largely a joke since the beginning when they had motherfucking despots and tyrants on their cover. Let's not forget, some of the people they've had on their cover in the last 110 years:

- Adolf Hitler
- Josef Stalin (twice)
- Henry Kissinger (still rot in piss you fucking scumbag)
- Faisal, King of Saudi Arabia
- Deng Xiaoping, Communist Dictator of China (twice)
- Ayatollah Khomeini, the Caliph and Dictator of Iran
- Ronald Reagan (twice)
- Newt Gengrich
- Jeff Bezos
- Rudy Giuliani (because he *happened* to be the Mayor of New York when 9/11 happened)
- George W. Bush (twice)
- Vladimir Putin
- Donald Trump
- Elon Musk

Now hindsight is 20/20 for some of these picks, but it really makes you question what TIME magazine is fucking thinking allowing these to be chosen...
