Tag-Team Promos

How should promos be handled for tag teams?

  • Each promo counts for the whole team, total of 2 promos. Split teams get 2 a piece, total of 4.

  • Tag Teams get 4, can be joint or single. Split teams get 4. Either 4 joint or 2 a piece.

I would say that if two individuals are part of a tag team - at no point should only one individual roleplay and the other person not at all.
So no joint promos for split teams. Got it. What about the handlers with a full twam?

Joint promos that count for both, promos that count for each, or separate promos from each character?

For clarification - as an example. If I was on a tag team with Michael Jordan.
And we had a two team roleplay limit.

And Michael Jordan posted two roleplays before I had posted mine - I would be pissed off if my roleplay wouldn't count.
If you wanted to RP, sure. But I'm sure some people don't care. Petty wanted two, I'm chill.

Also meant to vote the bottom one....

EDIT: Actually I don't even know which one is the right vote lol

I would say that if someone is signing up as a tag-team - as one user. It is unlikely they are going to write promos for separate characters or rather want to make them separate. Especially if their whole package is built on them bouncing off each other.

In simple terms I would say: Single User Tag Team = 2 roleplay | Two Person Tag Team = 1 roleplay each.

- in regards to using another person characters. If your tag-team partner was comfortable you using their character in a promo, then that is something you would sign off on yourself. [two person tag teams]

I don't think this would be a problem. The rule is essentially "The team has the choice to pick between 1 RP each or one person writing 2 RPs" and 9 times out of 10 it'll be 1 RP each....no one is going to quick post two RPs so they're opponents won't count, it'd have to be agreed upon by both teammates

ignoring this week - i would say, someone roleplaying for someone else does change the battleground of a match. As in if you think your partner is a more competent roleplayer than you - you may elect not to roleplay in the hope you will win based on their merit and not your own.

This is me just playing devil's advocate.

Can we keep it this simple bc I feel like a lot of times we argue over misunderstandings bc I don't think anyone disagrees with this really :lol I would just add on that IF the two person tag team wanted to just have one person write both (maybe the other gets unexpectedly busy), then that can be fine too.

But if we wanna make it a strict 1 RP each teammate then I'm cool with that too

I thought about this as well but honestly if anyone is taking winning and losing that seriously in an e-fed then they're probably not having as much fun anyway :draper2 Would be the equivalent of being carried in a tag match by a better partner tbf like Braun & Nicholas at Mania :lol

I would personally not want to handle a tag team if I only got half the promos my opponents got to have, but seems like more people agree with Petty.

Where has anyone else said this though I'm so confused :lol me you and Juice all seem to agree each team gets the same amount of promos regardless of amount of handlers

OMB did. And I thought Juice did, but honestly her thoughts are so jumbled I need to reread her posts again.

Tag Teams getting one promo sounds fine unless you got 2 different users

Like when ive judged tag team in the past.

if Person A&B vs. C&B - if A&B had the first and third best roleplay. They would win
