No I'm pretty sure he wants it 1 on 1 and the two single handlers post their promo in one post so it's 1 RP vs 1 RP bc he said he didn't want to lose automatically bc he couldn't post 2 RPs for one team.

Or I'm lost again which could very well be possible bc like I said before I've barely been able to follow half this thread bc it seems like it's being way overcomplicated

Both teams should get to post the same amount of roleplays - for the sake of judging them alone. In terms of their roleplay limit.

Eg this week: If Jeff had posted one roleplay, Petty one roleplay and Smark one roleplay - how would a judge be required to pick which team wins?

He said in his first post split handlers could each promo separately but joint teams needed one promo. I think that's what he said.

This just confuses me. Can we just do two promos a tag team no matter how many handlers there are?

Well I think this is OMB's issue. If two people post 1 RP each and they're against his team, he's worried he might not be able to post two RPs for the team and he thinks he'll lose automatically if it's 2 single RPs vs his 1 team RP

I think what I would favor is a total of 2 promos per team. Can be 1 for each character, 2 by one character, or 2 joint ones for all I care.

But personally, as I said yesterday when this initial conversation was happening, is that I don't think the number of RPs one side vs. another should be all that relevant. If say, you and GFK had submitted 4 promos vs. 2 from Jeff, I would still have looked at all those promos and likely voted for the side that had the better RPs on average. Basically, the number of promos isn't all that relevant to me. Even in a singles match I'm not inherently going to give the nod to a person with 2 RPs vs. someone else who does 1.

Apparently this is reinventing the wheel even though the current rules are 2 RPs per match

I feel that, but that's the gambit with posting for a tag team. Not sure we can make two separate people post a single promo.

Bc he thinks 2 RPs will beat 1 by default every time even if the graders say they don't.

Which I'm sure he's experienced before for the record bc it does happen.

I agree. Just do 2 promos and the teams can split that up how they want. I also agree on quality over quantity.
