Swagger destined to become US Champion soon?

Johnny Ace said in an interview he's going to reward Swagger a title-match with Ryder due to the referee's bad decision in his match with CM Punk. Is Swagger going to roll over a injured Ryder and become champion?

I'm hoping Ryder comes out obviously injured, Swagger just destroys him taking advantage of that and becomes a big heel. Takes the championship, Ryder returns at rumble (doesn't win it obviously) but eliminates Swagger and the feud continues.
