Nick Nemeth was a guest on the Talk Is Jericho podcast, and spoke about his differences with Vince McMahon.
According to Nemeth, Pat Patterson would be the one who would pitch ideas for Nemeth during his time in WWE, so much so that the executives booked his matches to see Patterson’s reactions. Understandably, Nemeth didn’t take kindly to this method of booking.
“It got to a point where he [Patterson] was pitching for me so much for years that the second highest exec could be in a meeting at that point would be like, ‘Yeah, we’re just at a point where we’re just making you lose just to watch his [Patterson’s] face.’ And I go, ‘Oh, that’s not a great way to run the company.'”
