Styles & JR Comment on Divas Title Match

Joey Styles and Jim Ross had high praise for Tamina Snuka and WWE Divas Champion Beth Phoenix during their match at Elimination Chamber tonight. They wrote:

Styles: "@TheBethPhoenix is the most dominant female wrestler I have ever had the pleasure of watching. I want to see The Glamzon vs. @NatByNature"

JR: "Beth Phoenix w/ her version of Dragon Sleeper. Nice. Tamina has improved tremendously. Two keepers here."

They might do another Tamina/Beth match on Raw with Beth going over, stating how there's no competition and Kharma returns.

It was a damn good match though.

It was an alright match.

Too bad WWE still isn't going to give their division any time to develop engaging story lines to dignify their efforts in the ring... efforts that are few and far between enough as it is.

I still find Beth boring though. Definitely talented, just not very interesting.

I thought it was quite a good match. Easily the best performance of Tamina's career and the two just seemed to have chemistry together. I'd love to see another match between them down the line when Tamina has a little more experience.

I'd rather have Tamina win on RAW tonight against Beth and look like a complete threat and build the feud towards Mania. I'll assume that Kharma isn't going to return, if she does make it a Triple Threat.

Until Nattie's farting gimmick is over and done with then book her into the title match.

It may have been a good match but it was out of nowhere which took away from it tremendously.

That crowd was terrible throughout the show though.

If Kharma doesn't return for Wrestlemania, it'll be a big let down.

Match was solid that looks better than it really is because its above and beyond the shit they've been giving the divas which isn't saying a whole lot.

Trish Stratus said just recently she also want to face Beth Phoenix.

Why? I'm sure Beth/Trish is a match plenty of people might be interested in, myself obviously included. As far as the Divas go its about as close to Cena/Rock as you could hope for. And I'm sure Beth will get something out of even if just for the rub since Trish doesn't seem the type to not put others over (she jobbed to Vickie last year I think), and it would at least be a way top get some spotlight on the Divas.

I can agree with the sentiment that it takes a potential spot away from the other Divas especially with opponents like Kharma and Nattie on the horizon if WWE would just fucking humor us, but looking at the current state of the Divas division, surely it wouldn't hurt.

Wondering how Eve will do in Divas division. Bet she would be a pretty good heel, but doubt she would beat Kharma or Beth.

That crowd was terrible throughout the show though.

I actually think that it was a decent crowd. They got really loud for the chamber matches and the ambulance match they just didn't care for the Divas match and the random US title match because neither match was built up properly and the fans didn't care about who was in it.
