I got:

Cash.
A weird scarf and glove matching deal, which I will never wear. (Scarf, WTF?)

I used a bunch of the money to get video games, so I at least can stay busy for a little bit. I nabbed 2 PSN cards, Catherine, Assassin's Creed: Revelations, L.A. Noire (Which was Free), NBA 2K12 and the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection. Still got like 75 bucks leftover, but i'll save it for when I need it I guess.

Denver Nuggets snapback

Back in my day, you couldn't give away snap backs. Now they are en vogue and almost cost as much as a nice fitted. I think flat brimmed hats that aren't fully on one's head is the second stupidest look that this younger generation is trending to death (skinny jeans being the worst, especially the idiots that try and sag them, WTF?!?!) but when you make it a plastic snap back like that, it makes me very sad. I just don't understand fashion these days.

Snapbacks > fitted caps.

I got giftcards, which suits me so I can use my own discretion. Always a plus.

Yeah, I feel like gift cards are a cop out, but I feel like I can never shop for people right and know what to get them. Especially for my Dad. I know what stores he likes, but I go to get him a jacket, or tools or something, he ends up taking it back because something doesn't fit right or it's not the right thing. So I just get a gift card so they can get whatever they feel like.

^^ Yup. Every year, with everyone except the wife, it's like an unspoken law. "I know what your getting me and how much your spending, I'll do the same for you." And it was getting to the point where I wanted to break this omerta and basically say "whatever your gonna spend on me, keep it. We can both save time and unnecessary travel." So I was proud that I got everyone something they could unwrap and I think everyone was happy.

Huge collection of "classic" horror flicks from the 30's-60's.

Pretty much all of Stephen King's flicks as well.

Song of Ice and Fire series.

New chapeau.

New pair of smoker's gloves which I will promptly lose.

I also purchased myself a dubbler which was great because my brother gave me a "secret" present of a fairly large sack of bubble hash. And seeing as how I am on vacation (kinda) it is now half gone.

My x-mas present to me will come in a few weeks when I go take care of my income taxes. Gonna go buy a new lappy with my refund so I can play Skyrim and The Old Republic.

Yeah today, retro = anything 2 decades before. Everyone is into Urban 90s now (you should see how some people look downtown). The haircuts, clothes, you name it. I never was into fitted caps and some of the snapback designs are pretty dope especially from TISA and Mitchell and Ness. Plus I wear them normally and sometimes backwards but it's always on my head all the way.

^LOL, they brought back the High Top Fade for a minute there man... Grunge-wear still in... 80's hair-metal trends are still in as well tho... we just have to stay the fuck away from the 70's. There's also a lot of 60's style trends going on too.

But yeah, back on to giftcards... I just tell people I prefer giftcards, because I never know what I'm actually going to need until a situation arises. I prefer not to clutter up with more tools or anything as I don't know when/if I'll need most of them... but give me a gift card so the day I need a damn wrench or a nice shirt of my own liking, and I'm far more appreciative of it. Call it easy if you want, I still think it's by far the most thoughtful way to go about buying a gift for someone for XMas, because you know it's going towards something they'll actually want/need. Now if we talk every damn day (as most of us should with family and closest friends), you shouldn't be buying me a gift card, you should know how to shop for me... there's a difference there.

Season 5 is horrible. I pretty much had to force myself through that shit. Anyways, random shit and Skyrim, Oblivion and Arkham City. Got some cash and gift cards too

You mean bubbler, que no? If not, what the fuck is a dubbler? I'm too lazy to google it and I think I'd get a clearer explanation from you anyways. I miss the days of gonzo paraphernalia; multichamber bongs, zongs, bubblers, side cars, gas masks, and the best of the best; gravity bongs. Fun as shit to own, bitch when they broke. Then you realize the cost effectiveness and convenience of papers. And then you start rolling the gonzo joints...
