Where as SD is normally the more wrestling dominated show this weeks edition had a real lack of in-ring action, even the matches which were good were cut a bit short, much of the action
were either squash matches or more angles (like the main event which never was) to push summerslam. Heres what I thought of the show.

GM Booker T returned home to Houston wearing a Tuxedo and delivering a popluar spin-a-rooni before asking Sheamus to apologize for stealing Alberto Del Rio's car on raw. After some cheap
comedy jibes the champ did as he was asked but that was not enough for Del Rio who threatened legal action, at this point Sheamus presuaded Del Rio into accepting a challenge for later
in the evening. This feud is running out of steam.

Sin Cara pinned Cody Rhodes with a small packenge in the normal run of the mill Cara match. What cost Rhodes was his obsession with unmasking Cara.

Daniel Bryan came out and once again demanded that the fans stopped chanting YES! (of course they didn't) he also claimed that it was unfair that AJ Lee had booked him in a match with
Kane at Summerslam, Bryan also got in a funny line about Kane being AJ's frankenstein freak Toy Boy:DBYES: At this stage both Kane and Lee came out, with the GM claiming that booked the match
for summerslam because she believes that both are great competitors. In a twist AJ asked Bryan to shake Kane's hand (to let cooler heads provail at least until summerslam), Bryan did his part however Kane was having none of it and preceeded to choke slam his foe to the delight of AJ. Personally I thought the Raw GM was pretty good in this segment.

In a bid to one up Ryback Jindal Mahal beat two jobbers in less than a minute. Post match Mahal carried on the assult drawing Ryback to the ring who then sent his own message through
the jobbers. Its about time Ryback was fed something a little more important than Mahal.

In an entertaining highlight Reel Chris Jericho insulted Vickie, proclaimed that Y2J was back (thus completing his face turn) and accepted Dolph Ziggler's summerslam challenge. The segment
ended with Vickie slapping Jericho and Dolph hitting the zigzag and nailing him with the MITB briefcase.

The Prime Time Players became number one contenders for the tag belts by beating Primo and Epico by DQ. The cheap finish came when manager AW throw water over R-Truth and Kofi
Kingston at ringside drawing them into the ring.

Christian beat Antonio Cesaro with a spear in a thrilling match filled with exciting near falls. The highlights here were Christian's top rop sunset flip and Cesaro's pop-up european uppercut.
Post match Cesaro attacked Christian from behind. The action was super smooth and the booking was logical for both men.

Rey Mysterio defeated The Miz in a good match which again could have been longer.

As expected the world title main event never took place, it was halted when men dressed in Police uniform came to the ring as it turned out they were actors haired by Del Rio to distract
Sheamus allowing him leave the champion laying. It should be pointed out that a more cold less talky Del Rio was impressive in this show closing angle.

Match of the Night: Christian VS. Antonio Cesaro

Worse match of the night: Prime Time Players VS. Primo and Epico

Segment of the night was the highlight Reel starring Chris Jericho, Vickie and Dolph Ziggler.

Show rating: 6/10

P.S. The Orton/Swagger match did not appear on the sky sports broadcast which is why I didn't mention it in the review.
