All men are paying for pussy anyways, time to cut out the middleman. It's the oldest profession there is. It will give useless women who have no other qualifications a source of income. Also give non-nookie-getting losers an easier place to go than a car or shitty motel room.

Why the fuck not?

I think legalizing it would actually make it safer for the women. Ideally there should be no prostitution, but it is about changing the culture of the people rather than trying to ban stuff.

Having a union for the hookers like Holland does would give them more freedom also.

I actually had a discussion about this a few weeks ago. It's a victim-less crime through and through where both parties consent to partake in something people do anyway. Money being involved is the only difference. That being said, if it were legalized, it'd take awhile for everything to get all sorted out, but eventually it would be for the best. Plus the outcry of people if it's legalized would be hilarious.

This is something that is being discussed by our city counselors, as they want to open up a single cathouse within city limits. Their reasoning seems to be that it would put the actual criminals behind bars, while the women who decide to work in that line would be protected.

And I agree with Deezy, men have been paying for sex since the inception of civilization. Ever have that super expensive date that lead nowhere? Atleast with prostitution, you know what you are getting for your money.

Yes it should, its rampit now even. Government doesnt want it legal because they cant go and slap a tax on it. Get it, slap. :adr:

Cathouses are the quick answer for taxing it. Sure you would still have street walkers, and pimps, but those would be the criminals that they would still go after. Really its the same strategy that would work for legalizing marijuana.

I can't wait solely for the people who will treat joints like cigarettes instead of alcohol and lose their jobs and drivers licenses for being under the influence.

Meh, in my xp weed doesnt inhibit motor skills. Though that will be interesting to see what jobs will allow you to smoke weed even if it does become legal. Like how you cant be drunk at work, usually. lol

It still affects your timing and slows down cognitive skills, would rather be in a car with a potsmoker than a drunk. But there's still a risk in something that affects motor skills, even if it doesn't affect EVERYBODY, it still does a large part of the population and shouldn't be allowed to drive vehicles, like most medical prescriptions.

good point! Medical prescriptions are a huge problem now! Ill take weed anyday, but honeslty I think it has more to do with the responsibility of the person. If they cant control their drinking, they cant control probably many things

Think the girls would need licenses/permits to streetwalk, if it were legalized? That would solve the tax issue quickly and effectively. Also, permits would last 30 days and require medical screening. There is money for everyone in this.

Actually, that's a great idea. If you have 30 day permits, and a STD test and screen required to reup every month, it'd make the government the money they'd need to legalize it.

I just can't imagine hookers claiming their wages to get taxed lol.
