First Look at Mark Ruffalo on Set for She-Hulk Revealed



Marvel Studios is currently in production on the She-Hulk series coming to Disney+, and while information on the plot is being kept under wraps, set photos have shown that one major Marvel Cinematic Universe character has been on set.

In a recent Facebook post, actress Anais Almonte shared a few images from the set. While most of them were behind-the-scenes shots, one of them was the experience of getting to meet none other than Mark Ruffalo, who will be reprising his role as Bruce Banner/The Hulk in the upcoming series.

Judging from the photo, it looks like Ruffalo has already been hard at work, as he’s seen in a full motion-capture suit complete performance-capture dots painted along his face. Ruffalo was already known to be in the series, but this is the first time he’s been seen on set since the announcement, which means production could be further underway than previously thought.


The series is set to see introduce some new faces to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Renée Elise Goldsberry will play Amelia and Ginger Gonzaga is confirmed for the project. As far as returning faces, Mark Ruffalo returns and Tim Roth will reprise Abomination from the Edward Norton-led The Incredible Hulk.

The series is being developed and written by Jessica Gao, who wrote the “Pickle Rick” episode of Rick and Morty‘s third season. Kat Cairo (Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Dead to Me) and Anu Valia (Lucia, Before and After) will direct and executive produce.

She hulk got a prominent TV show before Mark Ruffalo got a solo movie xD I'm glad he's on the show though I always think the movies needed more Hulk & Ruffalo is a top actor imo

That's cause of some weird distrivution rights thing I think, if they release a solo Hulk film, some other studio has distribution rights but they can use Hulk as a side character in any other movie they want no Issue

Yeah Universal owns the rights to “The Hulk”, not Marvel. They allow Marvel to use him for “team up” movies and shows but not anything Hulk centered.

So we’ll never see a Marvel Hulk movie most likely.

Not like the first 2 were any good anyway

Did I just see Frogman in that Trailer pretty sure I did or someone who looks like him. Who wouldn't want a GF that could kick some ass and put you into Bed I'm just saying.

I watched The Incredible Hulk for the first time on the Weekend and I thought it was pretty good. It made me want to see the relationship with Betty(Liv Tyler] and Norton. Natasha took that role for Bruce but it didn't have that magic like I thought those two had in that film I thought.

Is it like a forever thing? I've been thinking the rights would expire at some point but I mean she we're over a decade into the MCU and they had them even before it started so idk anymore

I think they lose the rights after a while if the property isn’t used.

That’s why Spider-Man and Fantastic 4 was always rebooted. So Sony could keep it before they eventually gave the reigns over to marvel.

Even though I think Sony still technically owns Spider-Man; they just pimp him out to Marvel.

Yeah the Sony deal is pretty fucked tbh lol Sony def still owns the character but the Marvel-made movies make them more money than their own so they kind of need them to keep helping

Yeah Sony kinda wins that deal tbh. If I remember correctly, Marvel pays for the production of the Spider-Man movies and Sony still gets a cut.
