What a wonderful time it has been. Thank you @AEW
for allowing me to be there from the ground level. It’s been a fantastic 5 years of growth and personal development. This is a personal choice and one that is best for me and my family at this time. Thank you to all, staff and talent alike for the memories #10

I don't think that's it exactly, he's actually been home A LOT while still getting paid for paternity leave already so I think this might mean he actually wants to wrestle more wherever that may be.

Like most people, I'd like to see him in TNA lol

I think this is the best thing for both parties. Shawn had a lot of time off with paternity leave and also some hurdles around his mother's passing too. But he was a solid utility player for AEW during his time. If he wants to wrestle more, so be it. Or if he wants to focus on family, or even training people, he also has the full right to do so.

If he wants to wrestle, TNA may be the best place for him.

If he doesn’t, I could see him as a producer for NXT. But I put that at a less than 1% chance of happening.

Like you guys said, he probably still wants to go in the ring

Producer in NXT, trainer in the PC with his IRL friend Tyler Breeze, and maybe an occasional in ring match? Could be worse.

Wishing all the best for him. For the most part I enjoyed his AEW Run, it was nice to see him be a semi-important character occasionally. Accountabillybuddy Spears being a hype bro for Wardlow was peak stuff, with Chair Pervert being a fair second.
