Jennifer Pepperman, who had been part of the WWE creative team since 2017, is no longer with the company.

Pepperman had the job title of senior writer/producer in WWE. On Thursday morning, Adam Pearce made a post on social media acknowledging her departure from the company:

Shout out to @JenPepperman. I have always appreciated your creativity, passion, and the countless time you’ve given to help me and others backstage over the years. I’ll miss your energy, but I know you’ll be great wherever you may roam. My gratitude forever!!!
PWInsider confirmed that Pepperman made the decision to leave WWE on her own and was not released.

Pepperman's pre-WWE experience included working for soap operas One Life to Live and As the World Turns. She's won multiple Daytime Emmy Awards.

In April 2023, Pepperman was named among several defendants in former writer Britney Abrahams' racial discrimination lawsuit against WWE. The lawsuit was voluntarily dismissed in August 2023.

WWE currently has a job listing open looking for a new writer/producer. The listing was posted earlier this month.

Hmmm...

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of writing for TV, film or social media - I mean writing BTBs on a wrestling forum is social media right?
  • Producing and Directing experience a plus - I did this in college!
  • Professional TV staff experience in drama and comedy a plus - Ok... well at least it's just a plus.
  • Experience in Live TV production a plus - I've been putting on bi-weekly productions of a little company called FWA for like two years now....
  • Plugged into social media trends - I have the Twitter
  • Previous experience working with On-Screen Talent, Creative Writers, and Producers - FWA talent is notoriously difficult to work with.
  • Understanding of WWE's audience (demographic and psychographic) a plus but not required - Perfect
  • BA/BS in Film, TV, Drama, Media Studies, Communications or similar field of study or validated experience in lieu of a degree - BA in Media Studies!

Yep, I think I'll apply.
