Making Love to my Demons
Alot of people don't know that I dearly love Saw and it's all his Movies even though it's hard for me get through Movies with loads of blood and not feel nautious as I watch them. I was planning to watch the first 5 I own on DVD and now I hear this News. I do love the first 3 especially so going back in time I say let's please for Amanda and Jigsaw alone.

Yeah I pretty much like all of them for the most part. The only ones I didn't really like was Final Chapter and Jigsaw, Spiral was okay but not really Saw.

I'm glad Tobin Bell is back and this plot being set timeline wise around some of the better movies in the series, really bumps up the interest for me.

2 levels above, 2 steps ahead
The very definition of milking a saga. They had to make that movie happen between 1 and 2 because they were stuck with Jigsaw's death. Reminds me of Fast & Furious' shenanigans.

To be honest I love the original and enjoy the two first sequels but from Saw IV to the Jigsaw, I thought all movies were bad. Saw V had a few fun moments because of the number of victims, maybe.

The 3rd act that tries to connect this to the franchise is meh.

The take on the medical industry is probably why it's getting good reviews.

Definitely I would say my favourite in the series after the original movie. In fact, it even would top that in some aspects too. Especially when it comes to the acting, which is substantially better. Most of the cast was really good, beyond the level I'd expect for a Saw entry. I really enjoyed having Tobin Bell and Shawnee Smith back playing their iconic roles, it really helped to kick this up a notch just having them present in it. This might have been Tobin's best performance too, I really liked how much more character development you get for Jigsaw. I've always enjoyed in the other movies when they delved further in to his past, this was an absolute treat in that regard. You get so much focus on him and his character and I always thought Tobin deserved a movie where he gets the most spotlight and screentime. Very happy with their decision to go that route. I really think even people that weren't fans of the series could find things to appreciate about this. The story is great and told well.
