WWE is making big plans for this years Survivor Series to be a huge event in the calendar for wrestling fans – pitting Raw and Smackdown stars against each other.
Earlier rumours hinted that they were looking to bring back former champions John Cena and even the Undertaker.
But now they could be going even bigger.
Cageside Seats have reported that Vince McMahon is looking to tempt either The Rock or Stone Cold Steve Austin into appearing at the show.
This would be a massive boost for the company, whose ratings have been hit with the return of the NBA and NFL coverage.
Rock and Austin are two of the company’s biggest ever names, and starred in their boom period during the Attitude Era.
Early reports have suggested that if one of the stars were to make an appearance, then it would be as a special guest referee.
WWE top brass is reportedly looking for a big star to referee the main event between Jinder Mahal and Brock Lesnar.
John Cena was originally sounded out for the role, but was to busy filming Transformers’ spin-off, Bumblebee.
Stone Cold has not appeared since Wrestlemania 30, alongside The Rock and Hulk Hogan.
