Damn, I'm such a big fan of both of these guys. I went with Gordy because he would have made a very marketable heel champion, whereas Liger's gimmick never would have went over as main event caliber in the states.

Gordy for me as well. Liger has had a few American matches and was only really over in his Indy matches. Gordy is a just a monster everywhere he goes.

Went with Jushin Liger myself, I feel that he could have gotten over as champion.

I went with Liger as well. Big fan of the gimmick and I think that he could have done well as world champion.

I do actually think Liger was over in the U.S. his matches with Pillman were very well recieved. Tough call as I like both, but I do think that Liger is one of Cruiserweights who has the IT factor and can get over as a main eventer.

To quote The Miz, really?

Yeah. I don't watch indy. Unless he's made it big time, come back to me.

And by the images of him on google, he doesn't look like he is world champion material.

He had some great matches against Pillman in WCW, one of the first guys I think of when I think of Japanese wrestling.
