And here's my favortism for Steamboat showing.

Jerry did make a career off that move though. Still gotta go with the Cross Body.

As mentioned in another thread not a fan of finishers involving dropping people on their heads. Steamboat's crossbody gets my vote.

oh wow!! I voted Steamboat to give him some love in a match where I thought he would surely be losing..... crazy surprised at this!

Me too. I did vote Lawler as I felt maybe his Piledriver was a bit more important to his all round act, but I love both moves and the importance of them.

Not a fan of either, but the Piledriver is the stupidest move in wrestling history so I can't vote for it.

Why? It may look stupid now as hardly anymore uses it and very few know how to do it well anyway, but made logical sense as part of Lawler's act, and the build up to it was great.

The only way a Piledriver looks good is if the other guy's neck gets broken while doing it, otherwise you have to keep their head a foot off the ground to avoid causing serious injury. I didn't mean it looked stupid, I just meant it was stupid to do it. Lawler's Piledriver was awesome, got over as fuck and was a good part of his act, but that doesn't change the stupidity of the move.

Lawler didn't have a particularly unique or interesting piledriver, but I voted for it just because it's a piledriver. Ricky's crossbody, while a decent finisher for his time, just never seemed like it hurt.

Think that is the difference of the era through, as a simplistic move was put over so strong than you didn't need all the other stuff, also that is part of the point of a finisher as it puts the nail on a stunned oppereant, and it is about the element of suprise too.
