MASH was boring and got too political when Alan Alda took over.

It still holds that title so with streaming and cable that'll never be broken.

Though personally I still wouldn't put MASH as my #1

So agree Sopranos was good but every damn list it's like if I were to make a list it wasn't #1 that I'd get whack'd
Yeah people kinda forget just how big a deal the end of M*A*S*H* was.

Also yeah, that's fair, but I'd say statistically, considering that its 11 seasons are all very different from one another and bring something to the table, plus the finale being the most watched television series finale, somehow beating out Roots.

A book, actually. It was written in the 60s, adapted into a movie, then adapted into the show everyone knows.

Forgot it was a book first.

You know what's funny is Soap Operas are never on these lists they some of them were around since before TV itself.

And what about Gunsmoke? Law & Order + SVU? I mean 20 22 24 years Being around that long warrant at least an honorable mention.

Wild that SVU isn't on this list.

Just checked...

It's not. It's mentioned three separate times because of spinoffs but All In the Family itself isn't?
Saw 21....seems low.

And if SNL is on this list....Raw or Smackdown should be too....it's a variety show too.

Not surprised by Sopranos being number one and I’m glad it is. The top two are two of my all time favorite shows.

Surprised Fleabag is where it’s at but it’s a good show.

Yeah had to switch pages to see it was on. Think they're counting them as sports?

Rollingstone are dumb then....it's scripted and episodic with musical interludes and sometimes concerts.

List is invalid now

Meh

The placement of shows in these things is always gonna be incredibly subjective. As a collective, there's not really anything that doesn't at least deserve a mention. That said, it's incredibly mainstream/North American based (understandable given the source) which leads to my biggest grief with it, lack of diversity.
