Of course WWE is the best but can we agree that ROH is better than TNA?

Out of those three I would say WWE is the best right now, but for quite a few years ROH was far better. In fact TNA had a pretty strong spell during the mid-00's also.

Sad thing is right now the concern for both is more staying a float more than trying to be a strong number two.

I wouldn't say staying a float is a concern for ROH right now. With SBG behind them they're financially secure so should very much be trying to overtake TNA as the number two in the US. With the way TNA has fallen it could very well happen within the next 2 years or so as well.

They just need to know their place. They're not going to be a WCW or anything in this day, they need to shoot for their niche fan base and not try and get too mainstream because nothing can overtake WWE by this point. TNA tried to and it was a disaster. If TNA would have just known their place and tried to be an alternative instead of doing that dumb shit in 2010, the company may not have been as bad as it was because lord knows Hogan helped them for about two weeks and they were right back to where they were before ratings-wise.

Bringing in Hogan was a horrible move. I think people were expecting Monday Night wars.

WCW was horrible but they eventually bought so much talent in from WWF that it eventually paid off and the NWO storyline became a hit. The company wasn't even profitable for a long time before that, or so I heard.

I really feel ROH does everything right. The in ring style is much different from WWE, it has its own look and feel and it is more spot orientated which allows upcoming talent to show their skills and get over. Are there real elaborate storylines using crash TV style bits? no not really but that is hard to do when you don't have a TV deal.

It's easy to get characters over when they only perform infront of the same fifty people at every show they promote.

Crowd was cheering for some 150 lbs stick facing Jay Lethal. Act like that Cyrus clone the fuck is his name.....Truth Martini? is actually a good manager.

I still say TNA bringing in Hogan was not horrible in itself, it was letting him run a mock and over exposing him which did the damage. If they had used him how WWE did recently then it could have been worth while.

I am actually a big old school WCW fan, and would say that even before the Monday Night Wars era there was still plenty of good stuff from about 1988-1994.

Did you watch the ROH product before or are you a more recent fan? To me the product has gone down hill recently but it was really hot during the mid-00s and even as recent as about 2011.
