ROH Team To Debut Soon

PWInsider is reporting that TNA officials have been in talks with "The American Wolves" Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards for several weeks now, likely since the duo got word that WWE wouldn't be signing them. It's expected they will be debuting for TNA soon as they have canceled some upcoming independent wrestling dates. It's possible they could appear on Thursday's Genesis event from Huntsville, Alabama.

Can't wait to see how TNA botches this one....imagine they'll come in with new names and a horrible gimmick.

Predictable enough. Just a few years too late because nothing's going to save this company.

This reminds me of when ECW using Steve Corino because they couldn't afford anyone of merit.

TNA already have the IWC holy trinity in Styles, Daniels and Samoa Joe, if they sign Davey I think there will be a lot of shrines being made in a lot of basements.

ROH has AJ Styles, not TNA.

Anyways, The Wolves are one of the most over rated teams in the indies. Their matches constantly remind me of trying to play WCW/NWO Revenge, while everyone knows the analog stick kick out.

TNA don't generally give superstars new names. So there's still a possibility that they'll still be called Eddie Edwards & Davey Richards and also The American Wolves.

Isn't that just for a one off appearance?

Meh, this may have been newsworthy when TNA actually had a tag team division that was worth giving a shit about.

How much of a big step up is this from the indies exactly? With TNA in the shape it's in I can't imagine they'll be paying Davey and Eddie a whole lot.

I remember Daniel Bryan saying a good while ago that he never considered going to TNA because he could make better money on the indie scene. Granted, he was the biggest name on the indies at one time but even still, I doubt it'd be that different for the Wolves.

The Wolves would have better luck going back to RoH. Why get on a sinking ship?

I hope they enjoy the 3 months they have there before it tanks.

Looked through the comments and some bastard had stole my comment that Eddie Edwards was debuting as Doctor. Ultimate Dixie trolljob

There's a joke in there somewhere about how those initials actually stand for two former WWE wrestlers, like Dusty Rhodes and... guys, help me out here.
