- Vince McMahon made the decision to go with Edge vs. Kane at the 7/22 Great American Bash PPV instead of Edge vs. Rey Mysterio Jr. on 7/1, reports Dave Meltzer. Mysterio is trying to delay his return until August, but is feeling the pressure to return sooner with the Smackdown roster being so thin.
