I think I was between forums when that happens but I think my initial thoughts were hopeful but I remember thinking the way he instantly went into serious mode as soon as he won was weird af lmao

But man that reign sucked, most of what I remember is the big show feud

Part of me is grateful that I really wasn't watching wrestling at that point. I've seen the highlights, that's good enough with me.

If I remember right, I had issues with the channel smackdown was on for most of 2009 and 2010 not working on my TV so I mostly only watched highlights too

So Booker T gave an "interview" to a site called GiveMeSport and he dropped a hot take

“I guess my pet peeve, you know, the thing that really bugs me more than anything… My hot take is everybody that does the leg slap should be fired.”

I know this became a discussion topic over the last maybe 2-3 years, I think... and I understand why some people don't like it, but on the other hand it's like being pissed or annoyed over moves like the 619 or the WMD for example (which were/are a lot of people as well... well I remember reading a lot of comments about those at least), with the explanation that they're "not believable", "unrealistic" and/or "stupid".

Mean, the slap thing is because it gives the "effect" of something being hit. I don't really like when compared to older wreslting, but it doesnt bug me either unless it is like super obvious, lol

With Rey Mysterio induction into the HOF who do you think is the second best masked luchador/wrestler in history? Is it El Generico (i say no for couple reasons) is it Tiger Mask, Jushin Thunder Liger? I can't really think of that many

I'd be quite happy to see Tiger Mask (Misawa) take it, though Sayama was loads of fun.
