Wondering what would have happened to the WWE landscape if

a) Kennedy had indeed been revealed as Vinnie Mac's bastard son
b) Benoit didn't do that really bad thing/Eddie was still alive
c) Muhammad Hassan hadn't gotten released
d) Orton's first face run didn't flop and Batista never got the World Title

Wishful thinking, but that would be a different parallel universe indeed. They could make an entire episode of Fringe with it :side:

On the episode of SmackDown! taped on July 4, General Manager Teddy Long put Muhammad Hassan in a match against The Undertaker at Great American Bash and placed Daivari in a match that night against the Undertaker.

Daivari was defeated easily, but Hassan began to "pray" on the ramp, summoning five masked men, dressed in black shirts, ski-masks, and camo pants. Armed with clubs and a piano wire, they beat and choked the Undertaker out, and Hassan put him in the Camel Clutch. Afterward, the masked men lifted Daivari above their heads and carried him away. Three days later, hours before the episode was scheduled to air, the London Bombings took place.[SUP][/SUP] Without sufficient time to properly edit the segment out of the show, UPN showed the footage unedited in the United States and on The Score in Canada with an advisory warning shown several times during the broadcast.

That angle should have been awesome. I got to see it here in the US but we still got flashed a disclaimer.

Hassan would have been a world champion, easily.

It's funny how quickly Cena eclipsed Orton as the first time they crossed paths at SummerSlam 04' Cena was way beneath him. I swear I thought WM 21 would feature Orton winning the world title for RAW and Cena winning the WWE title for SmackDown. One of the two did happen.

The Kennedy angle would have either been really awesome or really really embarrassing.

Kennedy would of just gotten injured a month later anyway.

Yeah I know.

It's so sad that the angle ended with the silly hornswoggle debacle though. I'm with JBL on this one. Never liked hornswoggle.

only good thing to come from it was the Finlay/JBL match from WM 24.

I forget since it was ages ago, did Ken actually manage to fuck up a suplex and get hurt while taking an RKO. Or did they just release him because he was an injury prone clusterfuck.

I mean, I understand if you just want to hang out and "chill", but the wrestling ring is probably the final place to do it.

I remember thinking that Greenbay Plunge or whatever it was called was a huge accident waiting to happen. I really liked Kennedy at first but as soon as the schtick wore off I couldn't care about him at all, add to that I didn't like him as a face.

Kennedy was good during the taker feud and even had so solid matches against HBK.

The only logical conclusion that one can come to if he had indeed been revealed as Vinnie Mac's son and hadn't been injured is that he would have allied with Vince and would have fought Triple H with Stephanie.

Just watched Hardy vs Orton at Royal Rumble 2008 for nostalgias sake, was the one of the most devoted Orton smarks :)side:) back then.

Twist of fate into RKO, fuck yeah :mark:
