This isn't excactly wrestling related (though his son, Jack Perry is actually a proffesion wrestler) but nonetheless some really sad news broke as Luke Perry passed away a few hours ago, having suffered a massive stroke a few days earlier. He was only 52 years old...

Being I'm a little over 42 years of age, I was obviously amongst the generation that grew up watching Beverly Hills 90210, the popular hit show that basically "made" him a well known actor so, on a personal level, this is quite the bummer. Really lost for words...

And by the way, how "sick" is this timing of Luke Perry passing away, only a few days after FOX had announced they are reviving the 90210 show with several of the original cast members....

Granted, Luke Perry wasn't in the cards for it being he was starring in another show but, still, pretty sick timing...
