WWE made Cornette look like a bitch upon his arrival just like anybody else who first made their name elsewhere. At least he got to keep his name. Austin is one of the few that really that survived that initial crap. A manager has a lot less advantages on top of that. Hell, I could even go as far as the booking for Vader(which reminds me of how TNA is treating Samoa Joe at the moment) hurt Cornette just as much as anything else.

Cornette was the exact same character in WWF that he was in WCW, he just didn't click with a crowd with more than 5 teeth between them all.

Thats rubbish and you know it, he was a great storyteller.
He was a good booker. That does not automatically mean that he gave great promos too.

He's how JC did every single promo...

1. Talk very fast
2. Talk very loud
3. Stay in the exact same voice octave with absolutely no variation
4. Say nothing but completely uninteresting things that no one cares about, but confuse the audience into thinking they should care because you did steps 1-3 so well.
5. Use as much southern slang as possible
6. Hold a tennis racket so that people remember you later
7. When people finally stop caring about you, break kayfabe :JC:

And that's it, really. Nothing special.
