Bartholomew - I used this for Buffalo Jones, either his theme or in his first promo… either way, yeah, I like this song. Very prototypical modern folk rock.
Bob Dylan's 115th Dream - he was certainly saying a lot of shit
Broken Heart - only know Everything Is Alright by MCS, so I was happy to hear some of their other stuff is also good
Champagne and Reefer - The title tells you everything about the song really. Great song for having a good time.
Dig It - never even heard of The Coup but I thought the beat sounded great and I enjoyed the chopped hook, as well as them trading bars during the verses.
Ghost - I don't have too much to say about this, I thought it was a decent little metal song but nothing that is gonna stick with me.
Gold - now this is interesting because I actually used to listen to this but didn't recognize it when I added it to the playlist. Is this my first instance of being put BACK on?
I Am The Unknown - reminds me a little of Joe Gacy's theme
I See Dead People - like the music but no so much the vocalist and lyrics
It Had To Be You - this would be my preferred Motion City Soundrtrack song this week, it's really solid
My Name Is Human - Highly Suspact have this type of jam down, good stuff again
See You Later, Alligator - this list was in need of a little variance so there you go. Will almost certainly never listen to this again unless I need it for a bit.
Souls of Black - crazy ass song from the start
Spillways - admittedly I'm not the biggest Ghost fan even some of their instrumentation is pretty impressive. I also am not big on 80s rock, so this song as a whole just didn't click for me
Splish Splash - kinda enjoying these tbh
That's Coke - not a bad one, very reminiscent of a particular time and place in rap
The Anticosmic Overload - Nice! Reminds me of early Trivium. I probably should have heard more Obscura by now because I've known the name for years.
The Otherside - had a good, moody atmosphere at the beginning and kicked into a stronger chorus, the whole thing is giving me slightly less grungy Alice in Chains vibes.
Want You - this is the only pop/dance/edm song we had this week? At least it was a doozy. That drop did not go the way I was expecting.
