I'd argue that it is for newer films, like anything post-1990, but I prefer most older films on DVD or even VHS.

I see, I got the blu-ray rip of Scream downloaded with the Scream font for the subtitles, so to basically bullshit, what did you think of Scream 4? And the direction of the series?

Scre4m was one of the best slasher films of the last ten years. And I love the direction they took the series in.

I love all the Scream movies and I thought 4 was quite good. I'd imagine the next one will be just as good but I wonder where they'll take the story now.

I think Scre4m was amazing myself. Actually I was able to watch it here because of you amazing A-Listers which I still own the movie I believe. I think it set the bar very high. I just hope they do end the series with

I would disown Dimension, (The) Weinstein Company, Kevin Williamson, Ehren Kruger, Wes Craven, Neve Campbell, and David Arquette...

I could never disown Arquette, but I could handle losing the rest of them. I agree that its Sid's film, but I'm not totally opposed to them attempting to take it out a whole new door either. Would it be as good? Probably not, but you don't know unless you try.

I have problem with them going in a new direction. But they don't need to involve Sid at all to do that.

The only time I would have accepted the death of Sidney was at the end of Scre4m. The final act was so brilliant, I would have been okay if it ended with Sid's death and Jill getting away with it. But seeing as Sid survived even that, she can never be killed off, she's survived too much at this point to be carelessly killed off.

I agree with that spoiler. Unfortunately they passed up their one major opportunity and now it would seem cheap if they went that route.

Well don't quote me on this, she did say she wanted to kill the character off at some point. If someone makes the mistake of her getting stalked, or one Scream like phone call that was calling off any movie and wanting the character killed off. So, at the end of the day

Neve could have died, but I like that they didn't, I would imagine if she does get killed off, they make NO more movies for sure.
