I almost shit myself at the end there, completely misclicked when Exca came in. Meant to click Icicle Crash not Ice Shard lol. But I guess it didn't matter, two Ice Shards fucked it up. But if I did click Crash it probably would've OHKO lol. Still not satisfied with how I've been playing, I make a mistakes that can be costly. : :why:

I haven't had a lot of time to play with working on my regular job, YouTube channel and working out... BUT I've been playing a bit and it's getting pretty addictive.

Only thing that concerns me is as I continue to level my pokemon up, it keeps asking me to learn new abilities...is there some way for me to know which abilities are best to learn? It happens so often that I am concerned that I might be making bad choices.

When it comes to moves it somewhat depends on the pokemon and the game. What pokemon are you using?

Oh well the game is the Omega Ruby game...but as far as Pokemon I've been using a whole lot of them. I've been switching them in and out to increase their level.

I have to check their names because I've been giving them silly nicknames.

Combusken, Poochyena, Dustox and Zigzagoon are the ones I use the most.

For Combusken, offensive moves do best. I suggest at least a fire and a fighting move and two other moves for coverage.

Poochyena...long term isn't the best and there are better dark types. Dustox isn't the best long term either and Zigzagoon...give it all the HM moves!

Oh well the game is the Omega Ruby game...but as far as Pokemon I've been using a whole lot of them. I've been switching them in and out to increase their level.

Use the most powerful and accurate moves. When you're playing in game, you don't really need to worry too much about having a perfect moveset. STAB + 3 powerful coverage moves should be good. STAB = a move that's the same type as your Pokemon. Like Thunderbolt on Pikachu. Coverage = different move types. For example.. Pikachu with Thunderbolt (Electric/STAB), Surf (Water), Brick Break (Fighting) and Iron Tail (Steel).

You're going to want to use Zigzagoon as your HM whore. Cut, Surf, etc.
