Who Shofu or Verlisify? I have never watched a Verlisify video as I could tell he was a troll or whatever, and I just really like that song because of it being funny.

Verisify, it beats needing to see that video all the time to remind me why I dislike him.

My guess is being young, new to Pokemon, or you share his anti-smogon views/negativity. Like on the Smogon note, are they perfect, no, but the general idea is they try to make the game somewhat balanced in recognizing which Pokemon tend to typically be around the same strength level, a few general rules which make the game a little more based on player ability and allow you to do well with Pokemon you like and not get them bodied by Groudon.
