Assuming they do pay for it at this point. I take these Meltzer stories with a grain of salt, but there seem to be rumors WWE's doctors won't sign off on neck surgery. Either way, it doesn't matter who is paying. Wrestlers probably sign a contract stipulating whatever rules the WWE wants regarding prescriptions. And WWE's in a position to change the rules as they see fit.

WWE has to clear all prescriptions that talent takes as per the Wellness Policy. That said, WWE themselves issued a statement stating that it wasn't even a prescription issue. Paige was flagged for a banned substance.

My previous GP office would if texts had decent encryption. Can't speak for any specialists when it comes to private medical info like that. It's plausible, depending on the doctor. But that's a cropped screenshot that proves nothing.

100% this. Even if this was a legit text, it doesn't service WWE's requirements for a prescription.

I've never had a doctor's note with improper grammar, just poor handwriting.

All doctors I had where English was their second language, their English spelling was impeccable.
