Impact Episode One: TV opening: Scott welcomes us to Impact Wrestling and says tonight is a start of a new era for Impact he says that for the past few months Impact has found itself in a rut and he apologizes for that and decides that tonight he is getting Impact back on track and to give the fans exciting and new matches with the best roster of talent any company has put together. Rating: 39 Scott goes on as he is interrupted by... Josh Alexander makes his way to the ring with the X-Division Championship on his shoulder. Scott looks on confused for a moment as Alexander gets on the mic. He says he meant no disrespect to Scott and he loves the idea of fresh new matches and what not and then says that tonight he is going to give the people in the crowd a treat and says he is putting the X Division Championship on the line in an open challenge. So if anyone wants a shot let's go.... Well he didn't have to wait very long 3... 2.. 1. He comes out to the shock of the crowd and the commentary team holding his championship on his shoulder he gets in the ring and simply extends his hand out one of which Josh Alexander accepts Scott grabs the mic and makes it official as tonight's Main Event. Rating: 34 Match One: Riot Act (Maclin/W. Morrissey) vs. Los Mexicano (Chavo & Hernandez w/Shaul) vs. Desi Hit Squad w/Davari vs. The Fresh Princes (AR Fox & Trey) Riot Act win following a East River Crossing big boot combo by W.M. & Maclin on Shera. Rating: 35 Brian Myers comes out and says that Scott talks about giving chances but, he has done nothing except lying to everyone in that locker room he goes on to talk trash about Scott more and states that he is going to teach Impact a thing or two so get ready because the class will be in session and the doors of Myers Academy are open and his students are coming. Rating: 40 Match Two: Ace Austin w/Madman Fulton vs. Jake Something Ace Austin wins following The Fold in a pretty quick match. Rating: 45 After the match though Fulton & Ace jump Something and start to attack him with a series of double team moves that is until the lights go out in the arena.... The tron then says the words that send the Impact Zone into a frenzy Secret. Is. Out. The spotlight then shines as.... Matthew Silva rushes down the ramp taking out both men. He then grabs Fulton as Ace escapes and hits Matthew's Law on Fulton and staring a hole into Ace. Rating: 45 Match Three: Impact Knockout's Championship Match Deonna Purrazzo (c) w/Susan & Kimber Lee vs. Kiera Hogan w/Tasha Steelz vs. Jordaynne Grace w/Rachel Ellering Deonna wins after tapping out Hogan Grace had the pin but, Deonna would throw her to the outside. Rating: 36 Omega is on the screen and talks about how Scott promise of new matches means nothing because the world title picture we always have Omega in it. He states he has beaten everyone Impact has thrown at him. Callis says of course Kenny did because Kenny is the greatest champion Impact has ever had and the last one they will ever see. He states off names of former champions in Impact. Swann... Shamrock... Cage... Aries... Angle... Roode... Styles... they all are nothing but, insignificant ants as compared to Kenny they may think they were alphas but, Kenny is what the word is he looking for?? The Omega is the be-all-end-all. Kenny states that he won't be back until Impact has a worthy opponent until then you want to see the Impact Championship watch it on Dynamite. Rating: Match Four: James Storm vs. Deaner James Storm winnings following the Last Call Superkick. Storm would fight off VBD during the match. Rating: 43 After the match, James Storm would cut a passionate promo about his career and made it sound like the cowboy was hanging up the boots and saying it was closing time. Storm though would then turn to the camera and tell Omega that he heard him talk about how he has beaten everyone and last time he checked Them two never had a face-to-face. He goes on to say those champions that help carried this company through good times and bad are his friends and that he will not have them be disrespected so he is telling Omega that this cowboy has one last ride left in him. He is throwing down the challenge Omega vs. Storm for Impact Championship. Rating: 57 Match Five: The Varisty Blondes vs. XXXL The Varisty Blondes win following a roll-up with a handful of tights. Rating: 34 Jimmy Jacobs is backstage and is talking about he has been cleared by Impact doctors and he is returning to action as he is walking backstage suddenly the lights and the cameras start to go crazy and Jacobs is seen to be taken off somewhere. Rating: 29 Match Six: Moose & The Good Brothers vs. Petey Williams, TJP, & Chris Sabin Moose & The Good Brothers win an easy match though should be noted Sabin nearly picked up the W with a roll-up but, Williams is taken out by a nasty spear. Rating: 46 Rosemary, Steve, & Havok are shown in a black room with someone tied to a chair with a potato sack on their head Rosemary takes it off and shows Jimmy Jacobs they talk for a little and they go back and forth ask Rosemary ask Jimmy if he likes to Decay. Jacobs agrees quickly in a comical response to Steve going I didn't see that coming before Rosemary goes I didn't think it was that easy. Jacobs states he has seen what Decay can do and is impressed and states that he thinks a partnership between the two would be beneficial Rating: 40 Main Event X-Division Championship Match Josh Alexander (c) vs. Jon Gresham The match goes on with a tech masterpiece with each man nearly getting falls. This is a hard-fought match the crowd is enjoying as just about to finish Chris Bey comes out and attacks both men before holding the title up high. Scott comes out and is asking Bey what the hell he is doing. Bey states he's taking his shot. Alexander chases him off as Jon G. walks past Scott shaking his head in disappointment. You can hear Jon say I didn't come here for this Bulls****. Rating: 41 Overall Show: 41 Spoiler ​
