Thanks, man. It’s a real slept on film. I feel it would be better received if it was simply called Hello Mary Lou and not Prom Night 2 since it’s not really a sequel.

It doesn’t bother me as Mary Lou is a creepy and evocative villain and elevates it past the first one.

The metaphor with taking over the final girl’s body and the artistic dreams and shit with the chalkboard and horse are all nightmarish in such a good way.
