WRA&BB is still my AOTY.

? I guess I'm drawing a blank.

Also finally listened to DAISY. <3 the first and last tracks. Pretty good album. Very different from their past works for sure.

With Roots Above & Branches Below. I couldn't be fucked typing the whole thing out.

Some fuckwit reporter here gave the new Muse album **. I was disgusted.

Ah

I can honestly say the new Muse album wasn't my favorite either. Only song that really stuck out was Uprising. I'd take Black Holes and Absolution over it without a doubt.

is it me, or haven't there been a whole lot of albums from this year that were disappointing?

The Sleeping - What it Takes (eh.)
Lacuna Coil
A Day To Remember (other than a couple of tracks, it was average)
Aiden (the worst thing I've heard all year.)
Rancid
Killswitch Engage
The Used
Saosin
and the other good band turned pop bandwagon group stuff too.

it didn't sound as good as the last 3, was a bit emo if you want to call it that... but as a HUGE KSE fan, who's seen them 7 times and have met them and drank with them and whatnot... I must say the album easily grew on me

I think the problem with all of KsE's work since their debut is that 80 percent of their material is completely forgettable asides from the singles.

all of it sounds the same. even with other bands you can't really differentiate other than Howard's vocals.

wow, I think my favorite albums from this year were...
Meg & Dia
Jimmy Brooks/Drake
Kid Cudi
Silverstein
Green Day (I know. shoot me.)
Pearl Jam
Devil Wears Prada

just dl'ed Depeche Mode's semi-new too. I'll probably like that one.
