* Jinder Mahal b. Jason Jordan by submission with the Camel Clutch.

* Leo Kruger b. Aiden English. Kruger cut a heel promo after the match.

* Richie Steamboat b. Rick Victor. Ricky Steamboat was ringside in support of Richie.

* Sofia Cortez b. Paige

* Seth Rollins b. Camacho w/ Hunico

I'm hoping to keep up with this new NXT as it looks to contain alot of talent i'm actually interested in unlike previous seasons of NXT. The announce team pairing looks great and Dusty should make for an entertaining GM. Can't wait to see the obvious talents such as Rollins & Ohno but i'm also looking out for Rotundo and Steamboat who i've heard alot of good things about, just never watched FCW.

The next batch of tapings are being taped tonight I believe aswell.

NXT, Airing July 18th:

* William Regal and Bryon Saxton were on commentary.

* Camacho beat Tyson Kidd after Michael McGillicutty interfered.

* Bray Wyatt beat Aiden English.

* Jim Ross came out for commentary before Titus O'Neil and Darren Young beat The Usos.

Ross left commentary after this match but returned later on.

NXT, Airing July 25th:

* Tamina Snuka beat Kaitlyn in a surprisingly good Divas match.

* Jinder Mahal made Percy Watson tap out.

* Leo Kruger beat Richie Steamboat.

* Justin Gabriel beat Heath Slater in a great match.

NXT, Airing August 1st:

* Sin Cara got a good reaction as he defeated Hunico in a dark match.

* Johnny Curtis and Michael McGillicutty beat Derrick Bateman and Bo Dallas.

* Kenneth Cameron and Conor O'Brian defeated Dante Dash and Garrett Dylan.

* Sofia Cortez beat Natalya when Natalya refused to face her and walked out for the count out. Natalya came back, beat Sofia down and put her in the Sharpshooter.

* Drew McIntyre beat Seth Rollins in the match of the night in my opinion.

NXT, Airing August 8th:

* Raquel Diaz beat Paige.

* Antonio Cesaro defeated Alex Riley.

* Sheamus defeated Drew McIntyre with the Brogue Kick.

Glad they're still going to be using a lot of undercard talent from the main roster who aren't really getting a look in on the main brands. Would love to see them put Natalya in there too working with some of the upcoming talents too.

I'll probably forget who faced who so I'll revert back here before I even watch the shows.

McIntyre vs. Rollins looks like it would be a decent match, I'll definately tune in for that!

Second set of tapings updated as it turns out they taped 4 episodes and not 2. JR also only calls the main events which is a bit of a shame, but still better than nothing.

I'm actually a little disappointed with the fact each week seems to just be 3-5 matches, an occasional promo or interference that leads to nothing the following week.

I was really hoping that these guys would be put against each other, they'd feud, they'd grow their characters and build themselves a following before eventually being moved to the main roster. It just sounds like the old NXT, obviously with the different arena, setting, wider variety of superstars, but actually zero feuds. NXT at least had a few, so this is kinda disappointing.

If you're a fan of the wrestling itself, I'm sure this would be a great way to see the FCW talents showcase what they've got, but that doesn't do enough for me.

I'd imagine there would be promos scattered in and around the shows or backstage segments at least.

Granted this is two months worth of action, but I reckon that to start off with they just want to get the guys and gals out there and see how they look out there, how the crowd reacts and everything and then start to build feuds from there on in.

I didn't realise they were going to tape this far ahead, there is a pretty big backlog already created. The matches booked look good for the shows, surprised that Sheamus appeared again on a show that will air in two months time. Looking forward to watching it to see what direction they will go and what the format will be.

Re: NXT from Full Sail University DISCUSSION

Former WWE star Scotty 2 Hotty returned to action at last night's NXT tapings from Full Sail University. He answered an open challenge from Heath Slater and then went on to win.

- WWE began the Gold Rush Tournament to crown the first-ever NXT Champion at last night's tapings. Participating in the tournament will be Bo Dallas, Drew McIntyre, Jinder Mahal, Justin Gabriel, Leo Kruger, Michael McGillicutty, Richie Steamboat and Seth Rollins.

The first NXT Champion will be crowned at the July 26th tapings.

No idea when that Scotty 2 Hotty thing is. But this is good news that the NXT Championship is actually happening.

Re: NXT from Full Sail University DISCUSSION

Going to post it here because for some odd reason I cannot find the spoiler's thread link.

WWE taped three more episodes of NXT at Full Sail University in Florida last night. Here are spoilers thanks to Michael:

Episode 1:
* They opened with the hype for the NXT Title tournament. Participating will be Justin Gabriel, Michael McGillicutty, Jinder Mahal, Tyler Reks, Bo Dallas, Drew McIntyre and Richie Steamboat.

* Richie Steamboat beat Leo Kruger.
* Big E. Langston beat Adam Mercer.
* Raquel Diaz beat Audrey Marie.
* Jason Jordan and Mike Dalton beat Camacho and Hunico.
* Seth Rollins beat Drew McIntyre.

Episode 2:
* Michael McGillicutty beat Justin Gabriel.
* Kassius Ohno beat CJ Parker.
* Jinder Mahal beat Bo Dallas.

Episode 3:

* Tamina Snuka and Paige beat Caylee Turner and Kaitlyn.
* Heath Slater issued an open challenge and was defeated by the returing Scotty 2 Hotty.
* The Usos beat Kenneth Cameron and Conor O'Brian by DQ.
* Jinder Mahal beat Richie Steamboat.

* Seth Rollins beat Michael McGillicutty. Jinder Mahal came out afterward and stared Rollins down. Dusty Rhodes announced the finals of Jinder vs. Rollins. Mahal went to attack Rollins but got laid out.

* Kane beat Cody Rhodes, likely a dark match.

Well fuck, this is impressive! I'm actually looking forward to watching all of this!

Those look really good. I really am enjoying the new branding of NXT, it's really working well. Don't know why some of those superstars are in the tournament though. :/
